Goodbye 2018!

Happy New Year fruitsters! For those few of you who are reading this just a few minutes past midnight, I guess the fireworks in your area aren't all that impressive... 2018 has been a massive year for our humble Fruitbowl, our milestones have been well documented but now we get the opportunity to really reflect on what has been a truly momentuous year for your favourite server. Fruitservers turns 4!
This wonderful server became open to the players over four years ago, December 20th 2014. We've just recently celebrated four years of the server being around and that huge milestone is due in large part to the amazing support from the players and the immense amount of work that goes on in the background from the staff team. Congratulations everyone!

Prison News
FruitPrison has seen some fairly significant changes in recent weeks, the most significant of which is the introduction of the Starter Planet. Planet 0, as it's now known, serves as a stepping stone for brand new players to ensure they are given an adequate tutorial into what is a very complex server for those who aren't familiar with all of the fancy custom things included in the Prison package.

Donations
No surprises here, Survival and Skyblock have outdone themselves by absolutely smashing their donation goals once more. Prison performed admirably but didn't quite make the goal (we're getting there!) It goes without saying that everyone's donations are greatly appreciated - every contribution is absolutely instrumental in bringing everyone the unique experience you've become accustomed to. Thank you!!

Crafting Competition
Old man Santa decided to make another appearance in the Fruitbowl, and as usual his presence marked the beginning of another crafting competition! Congratulations to these hard-working players - your rewards will be handed out by me within a week so please keep this in mind before you approach other staff about your rewards.

Voting Competition

Reminder to everyone that votes are tallied up for the post a few hours before the end of the month so sneaking in a couple of votes right at the end may not help. Voting has become insanely competitive as of late. Everyone is eager to win a vote voucher! This time two players tied for 1st place and two players tied for 2nd place. Congratulations - your rewards will be handed out by me within a week so you won't need to chase it up with other staff!

Top Players

FruitServers is an amazing community because of the people that are a part of it. Every month one player and one staff member from both Survival and Skyblock are selected and acknowledged for their contribution to the server, whether it be ingame or behind the scenes.

Player of the month Survival - Red__XIII (Alphorian). One of Survival's more mature players, Alphorian has served as an exemplary role model throughout the month and is most deserving of this special accolade. Well done!

Staff of the month Survival - JollyMama (SouthernMama). JollyMama's bright and bubbly personality has been a welcome addition to the Survival team. Her approachability and friendliness warrant this special accolade, well done!

Player of the month Skyblock - Tony_. A friendly new face over on Skyblock, Tony_'s jolly demeanour and his eagerness to cement his place in Skyblock earns him this special award, well done!

Staff of the month Skyblock - ChoccyLatte. In Vixxiie's absence Choccy had to take the reins and lead the Skyblock team during the busiest time of the year. Her performance was nothing short of stellar and she deserves every bit of praise being thrown her way. Well done!

Player of the month Prison - Lion64. One of numerous new faces on Prison, Lion has taken all that Prison has to offer in stride and has been an absolute joy to have around. Well done!

Survival, Prison, and Skyblock are lucky to have such strong moderating teams, however we are always accepting applications for all of our staff roles. Our wonderful Event and Build Teams in particular are still looking to grow so if you'd like to be a part of something special do consider looking into these roles.
