Goodbye 2019!

Happy New Year Fruitservers! As the clock rolls over past midnight and we enter a new decade, you loyal Fruitsters who are tuning into this special post get to celebrate a myriad of milestones with me. 2019 has been massive for Fruitservers, make yourself comfy and join me in acknowledging some of our special achievements.

Fruitservers turns 5!
As mentioned in a previous Weekly Post, December 20th 2019 marked 5 years since the server became open to the public. On behalf of the staff I'd like to thank everyone for their continued loyalty to the server. To the staff who continue to put in the hard yards, we wouldn't be here without you. We look forward to celebrating more massive milestones like this!

1.15 Update
A few days ago both Survival and Skyblock updated to 1.15 - as is the case with just about every server update the staff teams are running around attempting to deal with the numerous bugs that are bound to surface. More importantly, and I know this is the only bit people care about with 1.15, we have bees! Both Survival and Skyblock have the new items at their server shops, make sure you set up your honey-making machines as soon as you can!

Donations
Another year of phenomenal support from our loyal playerbase, all three servers smashed their donation goals which is going to result in bigger and better things for Fruitservers in 2020! To everyone who contributed to these goals being met, thank you.

Fruitmas Crafting Competition

The gracious fat man (Santa, not Goldsta) made his yearly appearance and players once again had their opportunity to grind away for their chance to win a fancy Razer headset! Congratulations to Zyger and Xtalize for winning the grand prize, well done to everyone else - cash prizes will be handed out as soon as I catch you online. Alternatively, feel free to chase me up on discord.

Voting Competition

Reminder to everyone that votes are tallied up for the post a few hours before the end of the month so sneaking in a couple of votes right at the end may not help. Props to everyone for keeping voting as competitive as it has been, looks like everyone is eager to win themselves a voucher! This time around two players tied for 1st place; congratulations to blank124, Snowgies, and Deadly_Kitten0_0 on snagging the vouchers this month - message me via the website or discord to redeem these vouchers.

Top Players

FruitServers is an amazing community because of the people that are a part of it. Every month one player and one staff member from both Survival and Skyblock are selected and acknowledged for their contribution to the server, whether it be ingame or behind the scenes.

Player of the month Survival - Siliconne. A very well-known and kind individual within the community, Siliconne has been lurking around raising everyone's positivity during this hectic month! Always a welcoming figure who is happy to help others with differing tasks, we've watched him grow to become a valuable member of the community. Well done Siliconne!

Player of the month Skyblock - Briarious. Briarious is a well known and familiar face within the SkyBlock community. A dedicated, hard-working player who brings a positive vibe when they are around. They know their way around the server and is always happy to assist players with the knowledge and experience they have gained. Well done Briarious!

Player of the month Prison - BallisticSam54. Since joining BallisticSam has been active, friendly, and helpful to all they've come across. They've also been enthusiastic about all of the events we've hosted, well done BallisticSam!

Staff of the month Survival - PrincessPoppy2. Poppy's reliability is unquestionable, this has been showcased beautifully throughout our busiest month December. Hopefully by the time she sees this she hasn't been demoted for pranking her Community Manager, well done Poppy! (Yes I am snitching you in)

Staff of the month Skyblock - Daavie. Daavie's dedication to Skyblock has made him one of the most reliable members of the team in next to no time. His unwavering commitment can be seen through his continuous presence on the server and his desire to go above and beyond when helping players and the server. Well done Daavie!

Staff of the month Prison - ExpressoYourself. Being the only member of the Build Team would result in a lot of pressure, however Expresso has handled it all in exemplary fashion and gone on to craft up some fantastic builds for players to enjoy in next to no time at all. Her efficiency and dedication to the role make her a fantastic role model for people interested in becoming a Builder. Well done Expresso!

Survival, Prison, and Skyblock are lucky to have such strong moderating teams, however we are always accepting applications for all of our staff roles. Our wonderful Event and Build Teams in particular are still looking to grow so if you'd like to be a part of something special do consider looking into these roles.
