April Recap

Welcome to the April Monthly Post, let’s not waste any time and head straight into it!

You might have noticed that 1.20.5 & 1.20.6 dropped this week from Mojang. While neither update has anything major feature wise in them, 1.20.5 has a significant amount of behind the scenes changes that appear to break a lot of things.

This means it will be quite a while before you see armadillos on survival / skyblock and the new wolf varients as well. While you can connect to the server on 1.20.5 / 6, it is highly recommended that you continue to use 1.20.4 which is the Minecraft version the server is running.

The Prison Reset was a major success and the whole staff team would like to thank everyone for their support over the past few days the reset has been live! We have received plenty of positive feedback from the players in regards to the Planets as well as Mine Progression which is what we love to hear.

We are going to slowly start releasing planets one a time, we don’t want to rush this as it’ll mean the players won’t have anything to do if they fully complete the planets before the Seasons end. We’re currently planning to release a planet every 2 to 3 weeks from now. While this is an inconvenience to players, it provides the staff team enough time to make sure the content is the best it possibly can. If you have any suggestions for what we can add to make the Quests easier for you, please provide feedback or suggestions in the Discord under the Suggestions tab at the top of the discord.

The Token shop is out now!, As well as many other features that are coming soon, but i will not spoil those just yet! Keep on being cool Prisoners and we look forward to seeing you online!

Hi fruitsters! There is a new season of quests available for you all to enjoy! Make sure to thank the quest team for their hard work. Also keep an eye out for any bugs within and report them to staff to squash!

We do also have some cool things planned in the background so do keep an eye out for those! That's all from me, stay fruity.

While it’s been quieter on Pixelmon lately, it’s been a busy month behind the scenes full of changes and fixes from the team. We finally fixed that pesky crash when fishing for Pokemon, among many other things. Gyms are also back and being released at full speed! And when they’re finished… we’re very excited to share what we have planned for the Elite 4 and Champion.

Reminder to everyone that votes are tallied up for the post a few hours before the end of the month so sneaking in a couple of votes right at the end may not help. Props to everyone for keeping voting as competitive as it has been, looks like everyone is eager to win themselves a voucher! Keep up the great work everyone, please message a Community-Manager or H1N9 to redeem your voucher this month.

Peachiemeow has been a wonderful addition to the team, with her willingness to help out, chat and share her ideas it has been delightful working with her. Thank you for your hard work peachie! Congratulations!‌ ‌

Memmie has been a dedicated member of the Pixelmon staff team, but has shone particularly bright this month putting in extra effort into making sure events are prepared and under control for the best player experience, despite having a busier schedule than usual. On behalf of the staff team and the community, thank you for all that you do Memmie!

From Player of the Month, straight into Staff of the Month! We've recently seen Shadow join the staff team and she has exceeded our already-high expectations. Forever helpful and proactive in all of her new duties, Shadow is fast becoming a crowd favourite. We're so proud to see her thriving and cannot wait to see her flourish further!

The Whole Prison team deserves so much praise that I cannot put it into words, I cannot thank the team enough for all the effort they put in to make sure the Reset went as smoothly as it did. Thank you KawaGuardian, Alpenweide, Apocalypsing and Reborn for helping with building the Spawn. Gex43, Pudz and WolfyGrrl for helping with all the Background stuff and making sure we had the amazing features ready for Reset. Congratulations you lot.

GrImReApEr_1990 has been apart of our community for quite some time now, keeping active in the discord, interacting in game with his /warp stockland and the many shops within! Grim has shown a strive to be happy to chat to anyone! Keep up the great work Grim! Congratulations!

Mik's friendly face is a Skyblock staple! She has been a long standing player on the server through multiple resets and, each reset, Mik has attempted every event, activity or project that we've had. She encourages other players to participate and boosts morale in doing so. Mik has consistently helped other players learn, and learns off other players too, indicative of her outgoing and firecracker personality.

ParasyteMxM has made an intense impact on the Pixelmon community this last month by attending events regularly and keeping chat lively, bringing a healthy amount of competition to our recently added parkour during our Easter events. Keep it up Parasyte, and congratulations!

There is no Player of the Month for Prison this month due to the Reset occuring just before the end of the month. But this doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate any of you, it was just too hard to pick and choose a singular player through all the amazing players who have helped each other and newer players.

Fruitservers is an amazing community because of the people that are a part of it. Every month one player and one staff member from each server are selected and acknowledged for their contribution to the server, whether it be in-game or behind the scenes.
