Welcome everyone to the August recap. The time is now 11pm and I once again find myself regretting having procrastinated about the monthly post to the point where I can physically feel my hair turning grey because I'm worried about not submitting the post in time. This isn't my diary though, it's a monthly post. On with it!

Fruitbowl News

Survival Reset
By now most of you would've visited and frolicked around Survival's new map. We've seen some phenomenal numbers recently, capping at 150 online concurrently. Over 900 different players joined within 30 hours, that's 1 new name every 2 minutes! A lot of work has gone into this reset, with many of the staff going above and beyond to ensure the best playing experience on what is widely accepted as a notoriously buggy update from Mojang. If you haven't already had a look, their spawn alone is worth doing laps around exploring!

Skyblock Updates
Over on Skyblock pets have been fixed recently and new ones will be added over the next week or so. According to certain people there may even be new things added soon so stay tuned!

Prison Updates
Over on Prison our friendly neighbourhood Admins have been testing some fancy new custom enchantments! We'll have a nice little system set up in coming weeks so everyone will have a chance at winning them. Young Kookiies has spent a lot of time building things on the earlier planets so I'd strongly encourage players to return and do some sightseeing!

Donations
Another insanely successful month, huge thanks to everyone who has been supporting the server! The incredible numbers we've seen recently tell us that we will just continue to grow, and it simply wouldn't be possible without your dedication.

Voting Competition

Once again, thank you to everyone who continues to support the server by voting daily - it's one of the most important things you can do and it only takes a couple of minutes so be sure to continue voting daily! For the first time in several months, we have three clear winners for the voting competition. Congratulations to Al_Fresko on placing 1st, and to GetWreckedDJ + avalon03 on placing equal 2nd! Please bear in mind votes get tallied prior to the post being written so some last minute votes that you sneak in probably won't get counted.

Build Competition

Unfortunately we've not received the minimum number of entries needed to hand out prizes for the August Build Competition. Well done to those who entered, please make sure you collect your token sometime over the next few days. As disappointing as it is to see the lack of entries, we're willing to give the Build Competition another shot. September's build comp theme will be Halloween! "But Goldsta, Halloween is in October you dope!" This time the build comp will run over the course of two months and the size of your build will be limited to an entire plot! Looking forward to seeing what people can come up with, there is no excuse for not having enough time to complete this build.

Competition Rules

• The build is limited to one plot (200x200) in size.
• The build must follow the theme - Halloween!
• Build must be completed by October 30th 8pm AEDST.
• You must work alone, if you do not you will be disqualified.
• All entries must be built on the creative server.
• As cool as pixel art is, this isn’t the place for it.
• Don’t copy another person’s work, whether it be from in or outside of the server. BE ORIGINAL!
• We need at LEAST 5 people to participate to hand out prizes, so spread the word!
• Completed entries that don't earn a prize will net the builder a token on their server of choice, the winner will also have their build displayed near the creative servers spawn. If you have suggestions for themes for future build competitions, please let us know in this forum thread.

FruitServers is an amazing community because of the people that are a part of it. Every month one player and one staff member from Survival, Skyblock and Prison are selected and acknowledged for their contribution to the server, whether it be ingame or behind the scenes. Congratulations to everyone mentioned below! . Their support for their server made these players the obvious choices.

Player of the month Survival - EnchantedLover. Enchy has been with us for some time now, and during her time here she has been a cheerful player who i s a lot of fun to play with.  She is a friendly and helpful member of the community who currently holds the record for the most marriages and divorces in Fruit Servers history!  So look out for this heart breaker!!  Congratulations Enchy!

Player of the month Skyblock - BrapBrap. Congratulations to BrapBrap for not only being one of the most active players on Skyblock but also being kind and helpful to everyone. From creating the servers largest cactus farm to the huge collection of Pokemon cards you collected you have made all of us on Skyblock have a better time.

Player of the month Prison - SynlessPC. Throughout August Synless has been nothing short of outstanding. From participating in every event Prison has hosted to making sure inexperienced players are looked after, Synless has done it all this month. Well done Synless!

Staff of the month Survival - Princesspoppy2. A cheerful and bubbly member of the team, Poppy can always be counted on to help out the players and support her fellow staff members.  Such a wonderful asset to the team. Poppy is a pleasure to spend time with online, thanks for being you Poppy!

Staff of the month Skyblock - FBG_Vashta. FBG_Vashta has been a stand out member to the team. After being recently promoted to mod he has proven his willingness to learn and further enhance his knowledge and skills. The amount of hours that have gone into fulfilling his role and commitment to the server have not gone unnnoticed.

Staff of the month Prison - SkellyBG. Skelly's enthusiastic approach to improving Prison has resulted in the introduction of some unique ideas that players can't get enough of. From the collaborative events he's created to the detailed documents he creates to make Prison a better experience, Skelly is very quickly becoming an absolutely invaluable asset to Prison.

Survival, Prison, and Skyblock are lucky to have such strong moderating teams, however we are always accepting applications for all of our staff roles. Our wonderful Event and Build Teams in particular are still looking to grow so if you'd like to be a part of something special do consider looking into these roles.
