Fruitlympics

The Fruitlympics have begun! We were so glad to see so much hype from everyone who participated and everyone who came to support their servers, it has gone amazingly! Survival is currently in the lead with 14 points, and PrisonBlock is trailing behind with 4 points. Not to worry PrisonBlock, there is still a chance for you to swerve in front and take the winning prize!

On Friday we hosted our first fruitlympic event, bow wars!  The servers battled it out to see who was best, the final four were: which left us with: 1st: LifeOfBlu (Survival), 2nd: Ascc (PrisonBlock) and 3rd: Budddii (Survival)!

Next up on Saturday night, we held a game of Spleef over on our Skyblock server, where both servers competed brilliantly, leaving us with our final 3: 1st: brekkie (Survival), 2nd: LifeOfBlu (Survival) and 3rd: YouAreBrewtiful (PrisonBlock)!

We still have many more events to go! Who will be crowned the winner of the Fruitlympics? Stay tuned!

Pocket Games

Remember those fun little minigames we had over on the Hub? Pocket Games expands on that significantly and includes many more features that will surely keep people entertained for days on end. Choose from a huge selection of single player and multiplayer games and compete to top the leaderboards on Survival, Skyblock, and Prison! Some of the games even give you the option to duel your fellow Fruitsters. Find out more here.

Survival

Fruitsters, you now have the tools to protect your precious stallions from would-be troublemakers. Gone are the days of having pesky players steal your horse leaving you with nothing but sad memories. With the addition of McMMO Horses, players can do a variety of things not previously possible - horses now also have statistics you can train! It's now going to be a race to see who can breed the ultimate horse. Find out more here.

Staff Updates:

Events:

With fruitlympics starting this week we had a very exciting week! On Wednesday we had the opening ceremony for the games. It started off with a new event, Bully!  Then we moved onto lighting the fruitlympic torch, a sight to behold. (Be sure to check it out and by banners BTW). Finally we had a drop party including everything from dirt to elytra!

The biggest bullies in bully were: PotassiumDOT, ExpressoYourself, Budddii, Lxmon_, Leabeast, Rayder44, well done everyone, it was great to see a new event that everyone enjoyed, we hope to host it again soon!

Events:

This week, we have been filled with fun from all of our Fruitlympics hype but we had some small events inbetween! Here are the results:

First up we played some King of the Hill where some of you knocked your way to the top. Congratulations: Popstar_Poppy, BigSauce_, BayleeCraft, Choccy_ and Lagoona!

And next up, we worked our way through our Maze event! Here are our winner winners: Tank_DaBain, Choccy_, _Ravioli, Pixerative, Off1ine and MrPotato2415! Woo hoo!

Prison

H1N9 Message:

Loads of things continue to change on prison this week! More cosmetic changes to make spawn easier to navigate, auto mine resets, different drops and more. Daily Quests will officially launch this week which add cool new things to do ingame and P6 & P7 will launch at the same time! Maybe late this week or next.

Build Competition:

Hello everyone, It's me Ravioli again! I would first like to say a huge thank you to everyone who participated in June's build comp, we had many people interested and ending up with 8 complete entries! For entering this contest you get a special item on the server of your choice, I will be in contact with you soon to organize it! Because of the success of this months event we have decided to host another build competition this month! The theme is Gardens! Whether it has Asian inspirations or if it is a magical fairy garden, we want to see you guys bring the best out of nature! Once again this competition will have size specifics but this time we are also asking that you feature a bridge in it!

Competiton Rules:

• The garden must fit in a 90x90 plot, to assist you with staying within these boundaries, we suggest creating a border to work within.
• The garden MUST feature some sort of bridge.
• Build must be completed by July 30th 8pm AEST.
• You must work alone, if you do not you will be disqualified.
• All entries must be built on the creative server.
• As cool as pixel art is, this isn’t the place for it.
• Don’t copy other people's work, whether it be from in or outside of the server. BE ORIGINAL!
• We need at LEAST 5 people to participate to hand out prizes, so spread the word!
• This build needs to have been started and completed within the month of July.
• Completed entries that don’t place in the top 3 spots net the builder a token on the server of their choice.
