Hi friends! I have a feeling that for some of you these might be the first words you are reading this year! January is looking like a massive month. With such amazing support last year we have managed to fast-track some projects... There are so many changes this month I had to make a list of all of the new things before I lost track of them all. But for now, let us get onto the very first monthly post of 2017!

Fruitbowl News

- 1.11.2 Update
While I was not planning on updating for a while to this version, there were numerous requests. All servers are accepting 1.11.2 clients. This means that several things are currently quite bugged including FruitClear removing items when a person dies and enchanting. Enchanting issues or renaming issues are only something that Mojang can fix.

- Fruitmas Summary
What an amazing period it was over December with those hungry Christmas Elves and Santa! Congratulations to all of you who participated into the competition for the main prize of the SteelSeries Siberia 650 White. I am pleased to announce that these will be shipped to WilIs shortly.

Voting Winners

We had a massive month of voting, with Fruit getting over 5,000 votes! That’s a whopping 161 votes a day which is just amazing. As per usual, our top three voters get an awesome perk voucher:

Build competition

The build competition is starting again and this month we have a big contest! We want to showcase what Australia means to you. We think this ties in well with Australia Day later this month. This competition will be held in survival which means the vouchers will count towards your rank.

Competition Rules
- Build must be finished by 31th January.
- Players are restricted to working individually.
- Build must be completed in the Survival World.
- Do not build chestrooms, spawners, massive farms etc. We want creativity, not everyday things.
- Only one entry per individual.
- No pixel art!
- Keep redstone minimal if you have to use it

Prizes - These will count towards your rank.

1st Place: $20 store voucher

2nd Place: $15 store voucher

3rd Place: $10 store voucher

Congratulations to the following amazing people on POTM and SOTM!

Sparkly_Bubble is this months POTM for survival. Sparkly is a fantastic community member, always engaging in chat with players and staff, making new members feel welcome and even answering questions!

I am very pleased to announce that Goldsta is the SOTM this month for survival! Without Goldsta, survival would not be having such a smooth operation and is a massive asset to the server. Goldsta knows Fruit inside and out, dedicating countless days each month to helping players ingame. But like all managers, most of their work goes on behind the scenes and it is important to recgonise this as well!

Hikirioni is this months POTM for skyblock. They are active ingame and were incredibly generous over the Christmas period turning many guest and member players into Berries! Their generiousity is a huge asset to the server in making new members feel welcome.

Aphroditie is this months SOTM for skyblock! Like Goldsta, Apapapapapapa is a massive asset to Fruit, keeping the calm on skyblock. Skyblock has really grown over the past few months, in a large part thanks to Aph's ideas and influence in helping with the staff and community side of the server. She spends a lot of her time on the fantasticly detailed builds that make the server so attractive!
