Welcome to 2018's first monthly post!
We've already reached the end of January, I hope everyone has had an incredible start to the year! Every month is getting busier and busier for Fruitservers which means more stuff for you fruitloops to catch up on. We're also getting closer to finding out the release date for FruitPrison, how exciting is that?! Yes, I felt the need to tease about that. Without further ado, let's catch up on all the gossip!

Fancy Store Additions
Without spoiling anything, I think everyone should have a thorough look through the entire donation store to see what's been added or changed. You'll notice some perks now have fancy updated images. If you have any suggestions for store perks, be sure to make yourself heard!

Donations
A huge shoutout to every single fruitster for their support, both Skyblock and Survival have absolutely crushed their donation goals once more. Huge props to everyone, this month is once more one of the most successful months to date in terms of both donations and player counts. Give yourselves a pat on the back!

Voting Competition
Reminder to everyone that votes are tallied up for the post a few hours before the end of the month so sneaking in a couple of votes right at the end may not help. Voting has become insanely competitive as of late. In fact, it's become so competitive that we are going to have more than just 3 winners this month. Here's a full list of winners for January. Every single winner can message me for $5 worth of perks, keep it up!

Build Competition
The theme for January's build competition was Mediterranean. We're pleased to see we finally managed to get enough entries to hand out prizes. However 2 entries stood out quite clearly in terms of the amount of effort that went into producing them. Huge congratulations to LadyAmayo and ShadowKnightZII, earning equal 1st place for their astonishingly gorgeous entries. Everything in their plots communicated 'mediterranean' to me, and that in itself is worthy of praise.

Competition Rules
- Build must be finished by 27th February.
- Players are restricted to working individually.
- Build must be completed on the Creative Server.
- Do not build chestrooms, spawners, massive farms etc. We want creativity, not everyday things.
- Only one entry per individual.
- No pixel art!
- Keep redstone minimal if you must use it.
- Do NOT copy anyone else's builds, not even ones you find on Google images!
- Minimum 5 entries. There will be no winners announced if we don't get at least 5 entries!
- Builds need to be started and completed within the same month. You cannot use assets from previous entries.
- Completed entries that don't earn a top prize will net the builder a token on the server of their choice.

Top Players

FruitServers is an amazing community because of the people that are a part of it. Every month one player and one staff memberfrom both Survival and Skyblock are selected and acknowledged for their contribution to the server, whether it be ingame or behind the scenes.

Player of the month Survival - Static58. This TNT run hero has had a hugely positive impact on the server throughout his stay, and we'd like to acknowledge his efforts with a fancy little award. Well done Static!

Staff of the month Survival - Auri_Borealis. Although he went missing for a week exploring Australia's neighbour, Auri has been exemplary throughout the month of January and deserves recognition. Well done Auri!

Player of the month Skyblock - YouAreBrewtiful. One more example of a generous player who is always willing to go above and beyond to help other players at the drop of a hat. Well done Brewtiful!

Staff of the month Skyblock - Bearnecssity. Although he's only a recent addition to the team, Bear has made his presence known throughout his short tenure as staff through his outstanding conduct. Well done Bear!

Survival and Skyblock are lucky to have such strong moderating and build teams, however we are always accepting applications for both of these roles. Mister Bulk_Bogan now has Lagoonaa as backup however the event team is still looking to grow so if you'd like to be a part of something special, consider looking into this role.
