January Recap

Welcome to the January Recap! I hope everyone has settled in and finished making their dreadful '2020 vision' jokes... As usual, the Fruitbowl has been very busy so make sure you're settled in before you start reading what's been happening throughout January.

Survival News
FruitSurvival players rejoice, Australia Day marked another much needed reset. As with any reset, there's bound to be minor issues found here and there so it's imperative players are reporting these either via the forums or through our discord server. There has also been a change to the way spawners can be claimed, make sure you've read through Ahtnamas80's post if you've bought spawners from the FruitSurvival store!

Prison News
Keen explorers would've noticed a little nook at planet 1 spawn being mined out to make room for something special. Players can now exchange tokens won from events for abnormally powerful gear. Have you got suggestions for new mythical token gear? Throw your suggestions onto discord or message a staff member from FruitPrison with your ideas.

Donations
Fantastic effort from Survival and Skyblock to smash their donation goals once more, Prison didn't quite get there this month but we got close! Huge thank you once more to all the generous donors.

Voting Competition

Reminder to everyone that votes are tallied up for the post a few hours before the end of the month so sneaking in a couple of votes right at the end may not help. Props to everyone for keeping voting as competitive as it has been, looks like everyone is eager to win themselves a voucher! Top Players

FruitServers is an amazing community because of the people that are a part of it. Every month one player and one staff member from both Survival, Skyblock, and Prison are selected and acknowledged for their contribution to the server, whether it be ingame or behind the scenes.

Player of the month Survival - kavazy. "Since they joined the server Kavazy has been a friendly and helpful member of the community, always watches chat to help new players get settled, or share information in game.  Thank you for helping make our community great Kavazy!" - Ahtnamas80

Player of the month Skyblock - Holthy. Holthy has very quickly established themselves as a valued member of the Skyblock community in the time they've been on. Well done Holthy!

Player of the month Prison - HIN914. No, that isn't just another player impersonating the server Owner. We know this because HIN914 doesn't spend the bulk of their time telling cheesy dad jokes and insulting demski. Since joining, HIN914 has spent many hours online taking on the challenge of FruitPrison while also putting time aside to help new players whenever possible. Well done!

Staff of the month Survival - Terra_Morphous. "Terra has been very hard at work in recent weeks helping get everything set up and ready for the new map, he has spent long hours building and decorating to make everything perfect in time for the grand opening.  All your hard work was very much appreciated, thank you Terra!" - Ahtnamas80

Staff of the month Skyblock - DownRanger. Although he's one of the younger members of the Skyblock team, DownRanger has quickly shown maturity beyond his years through his constant vigilance and swift responses server-related issues that come his way. Well done DownRanger!

Staff of the month Prison - spleggeti. Splegg's tenacity and desire to go above and beyond in all FruitPrison-related endeavours has always made him stand out amongst the team. When he's not wasting time being a meme, he's providing quality assistance and feedback to FruitPrison adventurers. Good job you absolute meme.

Survival, Prison, and Skyblock are lucky to have such strong moderating teams, however we are always accepting applications for all of our staff roles. Our wonderful Event and Build Teams in particular are still looking to grow so if you'd like to be a part of something special do consider looking into these roles.
