It has been a truly mammoth month on Fruit! So welcome Fruiters, to the January Recap! Survival reset with a bang last week and we have seen some totally incredible playercounts since. Myself and some devs have put in a massive amount of effort to improve the lag for this coming weekend so please drop online and help us stress test the server!

Survival News

I am very pleased to say that the FruitTrees plugin which has been in development for months is now in the final stage of testing. I'd expect a beautiful post very soon on how to use them! Survival's spawn has also undergone a number of changes to make it more user-friendly, including a fantastic new tutorial area and more information added to the ranks section. The token shop has had a nice facelift and as many of you have noticed, there are now portals to the market and event world from the spawn to make this more obvious to new players! A massive thank you must go to Ahtnamas80 who did an amazing amount of work for this reset with the help of grandma demski, Witty and Dusked.

Creative News

Creative will be resetting in the coming week in order to fix a number of issues with the new map. There is no specific time or date yet for this (potentially Monday) so if you have a build that you really like, please take some screenies of it for saving.

General Server

Friday we moved Survival to a new box. The reset of the servers (hub, creative, skyblock and prison) will be moved this week. This will be a much larger job than just moving one server and will result in some downtime for ALL servers while we move the IP address across as well. This will most likely be done on Monday and should fix some of the routing issues that our international players are having.Thank you for your understanding.

Prison News

Aside from massive updates on Survival, the mammoth project that is Fruit Prison continues to proceed. I am so pleased with the progress recently on this server, it is looking truly amazing and something I am very proud of. The builders have done amazing work and I am pleased to announce that Planet 9 has been officially released today! If you are new to prison, no worries at all. There is a fantastic starter planet to introduce you to the basics and we have a really good staff team on there at the moment. All of the mobs have brand new drops in them and many of the planets have wood mines now as an alternative way to make money!

Donations

I would like to personally thank everyone who supported this month. It means that we have managed to continue our reasonably ambitious development schedule for all of the servers and throw some of the best minds in the Minecraft Servers world at fixing the performance issues on Survival.

Top Players

Every month we like to recognise some of the fantastic players that are involved in the day to day hustle and bustle of our community. Just because your name is not here does not mean we don't love you! There are always plenty of great people to pick for this section.

MommaToy is Survival's POTM this month! Their colourful skin matches their ingame attitude which is exactly what we are after!

It would be a misteak not to know who steaks_28 is on Skyblock! They are a great player to have around on the server and it is wonderful that they are able to contribute to the community in such a positive way.

Opalz joined Prison this month and has already become an integral part of our Prison community. They do a fantastic job at welcome and assisting new players and continue to suggest new ideas and improvements for the server.

And of course from our amazing staff team:

Grandma demski is the SOTM for Survival this month. Quite frankly I cannot work out why but congratulations anyway.

Skerny is an amazing member of our Prison staff team and their brilliant ingame activeness has really helped the playerbase grow on Prison this month. I would like to thank them for their dedication and hard work!

All staff are SOTM on Skyblock this month! The entire team did an amazing job over the holidays were we saw some amazing player counts on Skyblock. Exciting Stuff!

Survival, Prison, and Skyblock are lucky to have such strong moderating teams, however we are always accepting applications for all of our staff roles. Our wonderful Event and Build Teams in particular are still looking to grow so if you'd like to be a part of something special do consider looking into these roles.
