Welcome to another monthly recap!

Hello everyone, Ahtnamas80 here filling in for Goldsta for this months recap as he is still busy cleaning the sand out of his hair from his recent holiday.  What an eventful month July was, we are all now recovering from the excitement of all the olympic events and are gearing up for some very special things coming up soon....  So stick around as you never know what is just around the fruit bowl.

Welcome Home Goldsta!

What a relief it is to have Goldsta back where he belongs after his recent holiday, and I am glad to report that we managed to keep the server together while he was gone (for the most part, but that is another story all together).  So make sure we have lots of work for Gold to get him back into the swing of things, and show him how much we missed him.

New /kit Member!

Now available in game for all you new fruits, there is a new one time member kit, available as a thank you for signing up to Fruit Servers.  Also do not forget about the Member holiday perk (which will be ending soon), and included our most popular items at a great special price.  Hurry to the store and secure you perk today before it is too late.

Donations
We had another amazing month of donations, thank you for all your generous support.  It is really wonderful to see both servers smash their donation goals!

Voting Competition
Voting competitions have been very close recently! A reminder to everyone competing that votes are tallied up roughly 2 hours before the monthly post goes up so if you manage to sneak in a couple of votes too late, they won't count for the competition. Congratulations to these winners.

Voting is a very simple way of showing the server your support, and you get rewarded for it by receiving keys to open super special crates in-game! Not only that, the 3 most dedicated voters receive donation vouchers at the end of each month which they can use to spoil themselves (or others)! Please note that these vouchers do NOT count towards your donation total.

Build Competition

The theme for July's build competition was Ancient Greek. We had a hard time looking over these builds and coming up with a winner, but after a lot of careful debate, we awarded prizes to the following three players. Congratulations to the winners of this month's competition!

The theme for August's build competition will be Nordic!  Your imagination can really run wild with this theme, including viking villagers, snow covered mountains, and scandanavian ships to mention a few.  Please remember the build competition requires players to build something on the creative server by themselves, any builds with more then one player contributing will be disqualified.  We can not wait to see what you clever fruits can come up with!

Competition Rules
- Build must be finished by 30th June.
- Players are restricted to working individually.
- Build must be completed on the Creative Server.
- Do not build chestrooms, spawners, massive farms etc. We want creativity, not everyday things.
- Only one entry per individual.
- No pixel art!
- Keep redstone minimal if you must use it.
- Do NOT copy anyone else's builds, not even ones you find on Google images!
- Minimum 5 entries. There will be no winners announced if we don't get at least 5 entries!
- Builds need to be started and completed within the same month. You cannot use assets from previous entries.

Top Players

FruitServers is an amazing community because of the people that are a part of it. Every month one player and one staff member from both Survival and Skyblock are selected and recognized for their contribution to the server, whether it be ingame or behind the scenes.

Player of the month Survival - cpc. Cpc is an active player who is nice to everyone, always ready to offer a hand and happy to have a chat.  Thanks for being a wonderful member of the community.  Well Done cpc!

Staff of the month Survival - Glacie. During their time as staff, Glacie has been hard working and friendly, always available to offer support where needed.  Being a hard working and dedicated staff member, this award is well deserved!  Congrats Glacie!  

Player of the month Skyblock - sach0100. sach0100 is an excellent example of an outstanding player, who is always friendly and helpful to other members of the community.  Her positive attitude really stood out this month, deserving of this special award!  Well Done sach0100

Staff of the month Skyblock - lilshortyrae. This months SOTM lives up to thier name, being a little ray of sunshine to brighten everyones day.  lilshortyrae is a hard working staff member who is a great asset to the staff team. Good Job lilshortyrae!

Beyond the Bowl

We have a wonderful community here on Fruits, and we are lucky to have a dedicated and hard working staff team on both survival and skyblock who put in their best effort to ensure the smooth running of the servers, and to give the players the best possible experience.  If you feel you have the time and ability to help the staff team out we would love to hear from you, applying for a role is as easy as filling in a form on the website, we are always looking for new players to join our friendly staff teams, we are going to be accepting applications throughout the month.

If you feel like you meet the criteria for these roles, I'd strongly encourage you to apply. If you're unsure of the criteria at any point in time, please feel free to ask staff members to clarify things.
