Pixelmon 9.1.12

This week Pixelmon was updated to version 9.1.12, which added a ton of bug fixes, and about 16 new Pokemon that weren't previously in the modpack yet. If you haven't checked it out yet, jump in-game with us to enjoy the new content!

New Gyms

The Pixelmon team have been working tirelessly to bring out new gyms, and we're excited to announce our next four to the party! Dragon, Dark, Grass and Electric gyms are all now available via /gyms in-game.

We also heard your feedback about not being able to use legendary Pokemon for much outside of completing your Dex and other showcase purposes, so we removed the restrictions on legendary Pokemon in gyms. We hope you'll enjoy being able to use your favourite Pokemon in tough battles!

Hunts

We used to have hunts as a core feature on Pixelmon, but had found it difficult to find a decent alternative in the current versions. But we kept looking, and have found one we think you will like! From today, you'll start seeing notifications in chat when hunts are started, or completed. Check out the listed Pokemon with /hunt, and happy hunting!

Please note that the hunts will launch in quite a basic state, while we determine the direction the community would like it to go in. As such, we would love to hear your feedback about it! We encourage you to drop a message in the suggestions forum on Discord, or let staff know what you think.

We invite you all to celebrate Book Week with us with a range of activities at /warp bookweek on all servers from the 17th of August until the 24th of August! Keep reading (Haha, get it?) for a sneak peak of the activities!

Join our Character Parade by dressing up as your favourite book character and post a screenshot in the dedicated Discord thread! Your skin must be related to a book character! The forum will be released soon, start thinking!

Can you guess our favourite books? Match each book to the correct staff member for your chance to win! Each server will have their own list if you get them all correct you will win a prize!

Collectible Hunt

There are 8 collectibles hidden around either as rewards for events, at spawn, in activities… Collect all 8 before the 25th of August for an exclusive prize!

Crystal Ball Decorating

Claim a Crystal Ball (warp to be announced!) and decorate! This can be designed however you like, with the best Crystal Balls winning a prize!
