Beyond the Bowl

This week we said a sad farewell to our wonderful skyblock moderator VeritasAtlas, who has decided to step down to focus on her study.  We wish her all the best with her schooling, and hope she pops in every now and then to say hi.  On a happier note, skyblocks welcomed Lusions to the staff team as trial-moderator, so make sure you welcome him aboard!

Dont forget if you think you have something special to offer the server we are always looking for helpful, friendly and committed players to take positions in our event coordination, building or staff teams.  Being a member of staff can be a rewarding experience, opening the doors to many new friendships, exposing you to varied building styles and ideas and also develops comminication and organisational skills.  Applications are open all through the month, and guildlines and applications forms can be found on the website at http://www.fruitservers.net/staff

Skyblocks News

Now on skyblocks is a nifty new Island GUI that will help you navigate all the commands available to you for use in your island adventures.  So if you are new to skyblocks, or just need to brush up on a few commands, head to /island

Creative Server

Last week saw the opening of our new creative server, and many of you wasted now time in testing out the new world edit tools available!  This is just the begining of the server, and we have some exciting ideas for the future, however we also would like to know what you think, what sort of features would you like to see available.  If you have and ideas or suggestions pop them on the forums, our dedicated owner H1N9 is always scrolling through the forums, looking for new ideas.  We can not wait to see what you clever fruitsters come up with next!

Events

Wednesday the first of February saw the return of the very popular Bingo.  We played five rounds, with the winners all taking home a special prize.  Those lucky fruits were -

On friday we played a staff favourite - Thunderdome.  The staff had a lot of fun watching you all run around trying to avoid thier lightning strikes!  After six electrifying rounds, five lucky fruits were victorious, they were -

Build Competition

The theme for February will be Valentines! A fitting theme for the month of love. All entries are to be done in the new Creative Server. As you all now have basic world edit access, we expect to see some truly amazing entries! Vouchers earned from competitions held in the Creative server will not count towards your donation total.

Competition Rules

- There must be a minimum of fice entries or there will be no winners for the month.
- Build must be finished by 28th February.
- Players are restricted to working individually.
- Build must be completed in the Creative Server.
- Do not build chestrooms, spawners, massive farms etc. We want creativity, not everyday things.
- Only one entry per individual.
- No pixel art!
- Keep redstone minimal if you have to use it.
- Do NOT copy anyone else's builds, not even ones you find on Google images!
