March Recap

Welcome to the March Monthly Post! Plenty to go through so let’s get straight into it! Also, this is your daily reminder that Spleg is cool.

The end of March was a busy one! There are Easter events live on every server. Make sure to check out /warp easter - each server has put in a ton of effort for their area and they all look amazing! We have an Easter build competition and of course, the Easter Crafting Comp!

Introducing Fruit Bot AI! Like everyone, Fruit has been monitoring the significant advancements in AI over the past few years. Many of you are very familiar with Fruit Bot, often answering questions in chat, managing the Discord link and more. Today, it is very exciting to be able to announce the beta of Fruit Bot AI!

This update will take Fruit Bot to the next level. It will automatically detect and ban x-rayers, pushing people for breaking rule 13 on Survival, help new players if they have just died recover their items and more! Long-term, we expect that Fruit Bot will be smart enough to replace the entire staff team. Long live Fruit Bot!

The long awaited moment is finally here! Join us on Monday 1st of April at 8PM AEDT for an ultimate showdown for the End, where staff will actively defend the Ender Dragon and players must fight for their right to explore the new dimension. Bring your A game and your best gear and reap your hard earned rewards!

We're so pleased with the response to the Skyblock reset! Thank you for your patience and feedback as we get settled into the new map. Along with general bug fixes, there have been several changes this map, so let's get stuck into it!

Those with keen eyes will have noticed a couple of additions to our Collections system. We now have an alchemy branch, which will be expanded upon in the future. We have also added Cherry Wood to the woodcutting branch and have tweaked the tier requirements across all categories. Rewards are no longer listed as stone (boring!) but air instead (fun!), and will have their proper representation soon.

Our beloved Fishing Island has been moved to the back of Spawn and has made space for a brand new Tutorial Island! This lovely island will house all kinds of useful information. Remember that our Wiki is also available for more in-depth explanations.

For those of you at our Saturday night events, you may have noticed that we have a new End Shop at /warp theend! Get your hands on the Voidbow, Supernova Sword, or Nullified Elytra today!

And lastly, we have a massive Easter Island available to explore over the holiday season. You can access it with /warp easter and will find fun mini-games like Crossword, Drip Spleef, and Head Hunt, and several photo opportunities. Participate in our Storybook Competition and Banner Competition to win some fun prizes.

Reminder to everyone that votes are tallied up for the post a few hours before the end of the month so sneaking in a couple of votes right at the end may not help. Props to everyone for keeping voting as competitive as it has been, looks like everyone is eager to win themselves a voucher! Fruitservers is an amazing community because of the people that are a part of it. Every month one player and one staff member from each server are selected and acknowledged for their contribution to the server, whether it be in-game or behind the scenes.

starwolf__ has been working around the clock this month keeping the discord chats active and interactive! Star has also been working on some cool events recently! Honourable mention to princesspoppy3 for making warp easter happen while I was finding my feet! Thank you both for your hard work this month!

To speak frankly, may we all be blessed with someone as reliable as StayToasti. For a while, Toast has been crucial in our holiday maps. Spanning between Christmas, Valentine's Day, and now Easter, he has worked diligently, creating outstanding areas for our community to enjoy. On top of this, he consistently works at a high standard, and even helps out on Pixelmon. Toast has always been an absolute powerhouse. What can't he do?

Since joining the team and being thrown in the deep end, I can confidently speak for the rest of Pixelmon when I say how amazed we have been at the hard work, dedication and willingness to learn new things from our mods. Amise, Swoppa, Momo and Jack have all proven to be invaluable members of the Pixelmon staff team and community, keeping us in check and pushing us over the line for seasonal events like Valentine’s Day and Easter. Fantastic work and congratulations!

WolfyGrrl has been an amazing staff member since joining the team as event-c, she has constantly helped keep the server events running smoothly as well as bringing a joyful attitude towards every single task she is given. I thank you Wolfy for being an insane help the past few months and Congratulate you on winning SOTM for Prison!

Amaara has been a wonderful player this month, keeping the chat active and engaging within the community, helping wherever. Congratulations Amaara for POTM!

ShadowRRoses The last month of a map is always a slog, but one person kept us coming back for more - ShadowRRoses! Since joining Skyblock, she has found her feet quickly and has easily become a regular. She is sweet and approachable, and the team greatly appreciate her presence at events and in Discord calls. Shadow is an absolute pleasure to have around and we're so excited to see her thrive on the new map!

I3lueangel has been apart of the community for some time, they're always speaking in chat and making sure everyone's having a good time, they are always around to keep everyone chatting and interactive.
