Welcome to the March Recap! Given all the things that have been happening around the world in recent weeks, the tone of this post will be a little more sombre than usual. We appreciate you taking the time to read this post as there will be some very important announcements.

Social Distancing
We'll get the serious stuff out of the way first - a few words from the Owner H1N9. "We have been contacted by the Department of Health with some bad news, it turns out that coronavirus can now also be spread through virtual interactions. The virus can transfer from your mouse or trackpad, into your PC, through the internet and into other user's computers. To prevent community transmission from occurring, staff will now be enforcing a 1.5m social distancing rule between yourself and other players. Players found not complying with these new rules will be fined $1,000 ingame cash with the potential for jail time."

Pensioner Exclusive Hours
In brighter news, Fruitservers has opted to follow in the footsteps of some of our leading supermarkets and introduce a special initiative for some of our more vulnerable players! Here's H1N9 explaining it in detail. "Due to the unprecedented rush of players online Fruit, many of our more elderly players like Demski, have struggled to get online incase they get crushed in a rush at /warp shop. To assist the more vulnerable members of our community in being able to shop, later this week we will be introducing pensioner only shopping hours."

Member+
"For those of you who are struggling financially due to coronavirus, we understand that Fruitservers makes an excellent option for cheap evening entertainment. To assist those who have lost their job or have reduced working hours, we thought it would be a good time and idea to introduce the much anticipated Member+ rank."

The rank, to be rolled out later this week, comes with a variety of different benefits including:
- Access to /god for coronavirus immunity
- Access to Fruit Centerlink financial support which will entitle you to payments of $1,200 every fortnight
- 3x Emergency supplies of toilet paper
- 1x Bottle of Hand Sanitiser

Donations
Thank you to all of the generous players who have donated during these difficult times. Fruitservers is committed to ensuring the safety of our senior citizens - to that end, a portion of the proceeeds will be used to purchase virtual masks for the elderly.

Voting Competition
Reminder to everyone that votes are tallied up for the post a few hours before the end of the month so sneaking in a couple of votes right at the end may not help. Props to everyone for keeping voting as competitive as it has been, looks like everyone is eager to win themselves a voucher! Build Competition

I'm proud to announce the Build Competition was a massive success! It took a while to improve the formula but it looks like we're on the right track because we received almost 15 entries on the website, with a few people forgetting to post (oops!). Congratulations to RebornIV on 1st place, Sparkly_Bubble on 2nd, and NoisyBabyCreeper on 3rd. I will be in contact with all of the other entrants within the next day or so to hand out the ingame prizes. For April we'd like to revisit a theme that sparked plenty of innovative ideas the first time we ran it - Fantasy!

Competition Rules

• The build is limited to 100x100 in size, we'd suggest marking out these dimensions beforehand.
• The build must follow the theme - Fantasy!
• The build must be completed by 11:59pm 28th April, 2020 (AEDT)
• You must work alone, you will be disqualified if others help you.
• All entries must be built on the Creative server.
• As cool as pixel art is, this isn't the place for it.
• Don't copy another person's work, BE ORIGINAL!

Entry and Prize Structure
A forum thread will be made where you can submit your entries as well as find out what the prize structure will be. To make things easier for everyone, please only submit your entry on the prize structure thread. Lazy attempts will receive a substantially smaller prize, you have been warned!

Top Players

FruitServers is an amazing community because of the people that are a part of it. Every month one player and one staff member from both Survival, Skyblock, and Prison are selected and acknowledged for their contribution to the server, whether it be ingame or behind the scenes.

Player of the month Survival - V0rty. Young V0rty has gone above and beyond throughout the month, working hard on Survival and also spending some time over on Creative having a crack at the Build Competition. Well done V0rty!

Player of the month Skyblock - CrezAU. A frequent user of Fruit's discord and now also a familiar face on Skyblock, Crez has been a pleasure to interact with throughout the month. Well done Crez!

Player of the month Prison - uwulize. If you're able to look past the ridiculous name change and the numerous botched reaction attempts, uwulize is a force to be reckoned with on FruitPrison. You can be sure to find her name on just about every Prison event post - she wins so often! Well done uwulize.

Staff of the month Survival - Kuote. When she's not pretending to make progress on the Fruitservers Wiki, Kuote spends her time on Survival pretending to be helpful. Well done Kuote, I think.

Staff of the month Skyblock - Benjabot_. For those wondering how Skywars has suddenly become popular again, we have this young man to thank (along with Asc, I didn't forget you Asc). Benja's efforts in bringing life back to one of FruitSkyblock's most popular features has been met with plenty of praise. Keep it up Benja!

Staff of the month Skyblock - Goldsta. This month, we have decided to have two Skyblock Staff of the Month. Goldsta has done an excellent job since becoming Community Manager for Skyblock in getting to know the team, server and community. I would like to thank him for his hard work in bring everything back together again ~ H1N9

Staff of the month Prison - Brockchoy. FruitPrison's resident Fortnite expert, Brocknite, has been working hard to bring unique events to the Fruitbowl. His Scavenger Hunt has been a massive hit and I'm sure we can expect more exciting events in the near future, keep it up Brocknite!

Survival, Prison, and Skyblock are lucky to have such strong moderating teams, however we are always accepting applications for all of our staff roles. Our wonderful Event and Build Teams in particular are still looking to grow so if you'd like to be a part of something special do consider looking into these roles.
