June Recap

Happy EOFYs everyone and welcome to July! It is going to be a massive month with Fruitlympics and more. Let's dive into the recap from last month and touch on the very exciting week ahead.

Fruitlympics 2025

The biggest event of the Fruit Calendar starts Friday night at 8PM AEST. Fruitlympics is back for another year. This time, Steampunk is the theme and the builders as usual have done a remarkable job.

For those of you who haven't participated before, Fruitlympics is a cross-server event with nightly competitions between the servers. You are awarded points for winning events for your server and yearly bragging rights.

New Website

You might also notice that we have launched a brand new website today, bringing back some old features and adding some new ones as well. This new website lets you create an account which will allow you to interact in the forums, submit applications and more. As it is brand new, please make sure to report any bugs / issues to myself directly.

Discord will still remain an important part of distributing news to all our Fruity members but upcoming changes to both Discord and Legislation here in Australia means that it can't be the only source of community interaction. 

The new website also features our very own Fruit Wiki - transitioning from the spammy advertising platform we have been using to one that is uniquely Fruit and has zero adverts on it. A massive thank you to lceMocha and FreyWiki for moving everything over. There is still quite a bit of work to be done on the platform but we are excited for the potential that is presents.

For those of you with existing Staff, Ban, Creative etc applications submitted on Discord - No worries! They are still valid and staff will respond to them soon. From now on though, any new applications are to be done via the website.

First week of wipe has been a pretty crazy start! Doing the jump from 1.21.4 to 1.21.6 has broken a few plugins - which are being worked on as we speak! 

An absolutely massive shoutout to everyone who helped to get spawn and the new features up and running! 

In the coming weeks we will be seeing some more new features (and some returning ones) hit the bowl! If you hadn’t seen the new map patch notes, you can check them out here.

Onto more new things, We have opened a revamped /warp fest! Lots of new activities and prizes to be won! A big thank you to Madiotter and Dex for building this one!

Our PVP monthly activity has now ended, and our winners are RealGares in first with 54 wins, Tiinsy in second with 21 wins and MrMasher in third with 16 wins. Your prizes will be delivered to your first home!

There is not enough thanks that can go around for this lot! Constantly working to their wits end. Fruit would not be the same it is today without these lot of hard working souls. It was a rather difficult time picking SOTM this month, everyone has been working away tirelessly. Thank you for your hard work!

Browniee is behind a lot of the fun things over on Skyblock, from Cards to Crafting comp and more! She is always happy to help out and think up new things to make our server the best it can be. Thank you Brownie! 

Melo and Kawa have been working extremely hard behind the scenes on Prison this month and there was no way to split them so they both deserve Staff of the Month! From working on Fruitlympics to Prison building they have done it all! When they aren’t building they are always helping others out with their problems and without them around there would not be anything for players to enjoy! Thank you Kawa and Melo for all you’ve done and congratulations! 

arkpyr0 – whose dedication has been nothing short of inspiring. From her usual efforts on Pixelmon to stepping up and supporting event teams across multiple servers, Ark has taken on a mountain of responsibilities with pride and enthusiasm. Her leadership and creativity have especially shone through with her first time running Fruitlympics 2025, where she's absolutely smashing it alongside St0nk and the wider team. A true team player through and through. Thank you, and congratulations Ark!

It is not very often we have a double POTM! These two have done their best, striving to be helpful, keeping chat chatty and always around happy to lend a hand to anyone! You guys keep fruit the way it is today, Congratulations benkbb and JimJom!

NatJat is a staple of our community, she is always helping out others the best she can and thinking up ideas for feedback to send to us! Thank you Natjat!

RedactedOre has been a consistently positive, helpful, and grounded presence in the community. Since joining, they have become a familiar and friendly face - always ready to lend a hand, share spawns, or help new players get settled. Redacted brings a calm and respectful attitude to every interaction, and has shown real dedication to keeping the server a welcoming and enjoyable place for everyone. A well-deserved recognition for a truly community-minded player. Thank you and congratulations, RedactedOre!
