August Monthly Post

Wow, August really went by fast! There's been heaps happening all around the FruitBowl as well as behind the scenes on Prison! Let's get right into the Recap of August!

Returning to Hogwarts for Harry Potter Week this year has been a mammoth effort by everyone involved. So make sure to check out all of the activities on /server popup and get sorted into your house! 

 

With a brand new quest line, minigames, parkour challenges and more, there are plenty of ways to earn points for your house. You can also earn points from voting and completing BattlePass quests on Survival and Skyblock.

 

Every night this week, we have special Harry Potter events, giving you another opportunity to win house points. For more details, check out the events section below. 

 

On Friday night at 8PM AEST, there will be an epic Battle for Hogwarts Regicide on Survival so make sure to turn up!

Starting from the 1st of September, we will be starting our Father’s Day week! Cards will have a special theme, and a free mob fishing boost will be active! In addition to this, a new Community Quest will be released and some very special sale items, keep your eyes peeled!

There's been a MURDER and we need your help to solve this crime…

Explore around Spawn and all the islands looking for different Suspects, Weapons and Locations! Figure out which is missing from each section and you've got your culprit! Fill out a book and throw it in the hopper below with your solution.

I hope everybody is enjoying the fresh 1.16 map! While it’s not the 1.21 update that was promised, it has come along very well considering the short turnaround. With every new Pixelmon map, there will be a period of lag while the new world settles in. This will pass eventually – and in the meantime, we will work diligently to keep the lag under control. 

 

While this will hopefully be our last reset in 1.16, we hope to bring some fresh new content for you all in the coming month - keep an eye on that!

Reminder to everyone that votes are tallied up for the post a few hours before the end of the month so sneaking in a couple of votes right at the end may not help. If you haven't seen or heard about ImZiiro, where have you been?! ImZiiro is almost always online, fully immersing themselves in the things survival has to offer. If they aren't working hard getting them token tools to become a Token Master, their name will always appear in the chats to welcome everyone or offering to lend a hand to anyone who needs it. Thank you ImZiiro for making survival a friendly and welcoming space for everyone!

MangoPodzzz has stood out for their consistent activity and positive presence on the server and is always welcoming to both new and returning players, offering help with items, legendary spawns, and even contributing to community warps and builds towards the end of our last map. Their steady presence, friendly attitude, and willingness to lend a hand make them a shining example of what it means to be part of the community. Thank you, MangoPodzzz, for making the server a better place for everyone!

SpiderRon has been a model player this month, they always participate in activities and encouraging others to do the same! Congratulations SpiderRon!!

Ben has shown to be  one of our most dedicated staff members. Ben is hard at work performing his moderating duties, lending a hand or having a chat to everyone. Ben has gone above and beyond his moderating duties, he has been working extra hard behind the scenes and creating these amazing plugins for all of us to enjoy. So if you see ben around survival please be sure to thank him! Thank you Ben!

arkpyr0 and shivelry worked themselves to the bone getting Pixelmon’s reset ready not once, but TWICE with the sudden and unexpected change from 1.21 back to 1.16. They worked diligently on creating a beautiful new player experience, before switching focus to reskinning our current spawn in 1.16 with only 4 days notice. Without their hard work, Pixelmon would not have reset on time – thank you both! Well deserved.

BelcherMC has always been one of Skyblock’s constants, and this month was no different! Belcher consistently brings great ideas, feedback, and bug fixes to our team and in addition to that he is always there for a chat and one of the first to volunteer to help out ! Thank you for your hard work, Belcher!
