November Recap

November is usually the quietest month on the Fruit Calendar but it certainly wasn't this year. A massive Pixelmon update and Skyblock turning 10 years old as a server were just two of the highlights from last month.

Time to recap another busy month and celebrate the return of Fruitmas for another year! There is a LOT planned this month so make sure to get ingame!

You might have noticed over the past week and a bit we have been having random disconnection issues. This is obviously quite frustrating and something we are looking into!

We appreciate your patience while we try and narrow down the issue which has so far been extremely difficult.

On a more positive note, we are hopefully only a couple of weeks away from launching something super Fruity, new and cool! Can't wait for everyone to see it as it is a feature I've wanted for years.

Seasons greetings Fruity folk! The month of Fruitmas is here and naturally, so are the festivities!

Claim a free reward everyday this month until Christmas at /warp advent

Traditionally we have released our Fruitmas area from Day 1, but this time we are timing our area reveal alongisde our jam packed agenda for Christmas themed events starting on the 12th of December, so stay hyped for a little longer! More details to come in the upcoming weekly posts regarding the event schedules!

Is that it? Fruit no! Throughout this month, you might even see a Christmas Skin Competition, perhaps a Crafting Competition, maybe some small Build Competitions on your servers too! Stay on the lookout for announcements on discord and the upcoming weekly post!

 

Finally, I would also like to extend a huge and heartfelt thank you to the builders, event-cs and staff who have made this Fruitmas possible. A tremendous amount of time, effort and care has gone into bringing the holiday season to life, from decorating areas, to the designing and building of our stunning events this Fruitmas. It is their dedication that makes Fruitmas so special in our community - do not hesitate to show your appreciation!

Hello Fruities,

I’m back with another update! As many of you know, we planned to release the Nether and several token items last week. However, at the time of the weekly post, we didn’t anticipate the sudden overnight release of the 9.3.10 update. Because this update includes significant fixes to natural world generation and major changes to how Evolution Stone armour functions, we’ve decided to postpone both the Nether opening and the token item release. We need some time to review these changes as a team and ensure they won’t disrupt balanced gameplay. Thank you all for your patience so far!

 

When will we update to 9.3.10?

While the new version promises to fix many of the bugs present in 9.3.9, we won’t be updating just yet. Please remember that 9.3.10 was a snapshot release, which is why it was not unexpected that it came with its own quirks. We’ll be running additional testing to make sure it’s stable and safe for us to move over, and may be waiting for a hopefully stable 9.3.11 instead. We’ll keep everyone posted as things progress!

 

PokeClaim - Monday 9PM

Tonight, after our weekly events, we are finally opening PokeClaim to allow you to claim your beloved Pokemon from the previous map. You may notice that some traits of your saved Pokemon will not carry over - this is due to how Pixelmon has fundamentally changed how Pokemon are saved between 1.16 -> 1.21. At this stage, this mainly affects your Pokemon’s size.

This month brings an exciting new activity. You'll find a lovely Christmas Tree in the centre and some building areas around. 

Claim a build area for your own and design a Christmas Bauble to be hung on the Christmas Tree.

Custom Enchantment Updates

• Fixed the Slot Increaser limit increase not functioning.
• Changed Cacti Cutter from Haste 6 to Instant-Break & Reduced Cacti Cutter hunger from 15% to 5%
• Added Sharp Hook 4 and 5 for 15 and 20 damage.
• Reduced Quantum Reel to a 3 second cooldown.
• Reduced Snap to a 6 second cooldown.
• Resolved Angler and Captain's Hook causing additional drops while holding two.

New Enchantments:

• Builder's Axe: Oxidize Copper (not doors), available in the /bp quests!
• PartyReel: Increase fishing catch rate within 10 blocks of other players, available in the Party Crate soon.

New and Included in the Arcane Relic Trader:

• Glass Tinter: Mine Stained Glass to replace it with Tinted Glass.
• Glass Breaker: Instantly break and collect glass blocks when mined.
• Glow Berry Breaker: Break a row of 9 Glow Berry vines.
• Sweet Berry Replanter: Break and Replant a 3x3 - 7x7 area of Sweet Berries.
• De Gourder: Break a row of 9 Pumpkins and Melons.
• Cake-Rebakinator: Replace a Cake with a Cake, 5 minute cooldown.
• Passive Prospector: Convert natural ore blocks into a refined block while sneaking,
• Party Reel: Increase fishing catch rate within 10 blocks of other players
• Geode of Fortune: Budding Amethyst will drop when broken.
• Experience: Increased experience from mining.
• Magma Pulse: Push and Freeze Magma Cubes, with a chance to stop damage.
• Implants: Chance to regain health every 20 seconds.
• StatTrak Creator: Track player kills with a weapon.
• Experience Level Conversion 50:1 into Arcane Relics.

Ryan has taken the time to learn features of our server, and is always happy to share the information he has learnt with others, as well as being extremely friendly & welcoming to all. has been an absolute joy to have around on Prison this month! From being Active in chat, friendly to all players and helping players who ask questions they have been there to help out. As well as smashing through the Progression of Prison to hit Galactic they have been all over it so Congratulations quiirkzy on POTM!

TakeShotAction has been an absolute standout in the community. They’ve been consistently active, friendly, and welcoming to everyone whether it’s greeting new players, chatting in global, or just keeping the vibe positive.

MadiOtter is a builder extraordinaire, a supreme talent on Survival's build team and creative genius. Able to take some super hard briefs (such as Survival's current spawn) and turn it into reality with ease. Her recent reskin of the Survival spawn for Christmas with the help of Dex truly puts everyone in the mood this Fruitmas! A massive thank you to Madi for her tireless work in making Fruit look amazing.

This month, Belcher took on the massive task of becoming the Card Man! He has taken the time to learn, and think of fresh new ideas - and he’s doing great! Thank you for all your hard work this month, Belch!

Pupppyy’s creativity, reliability, and sheer output have been nothing short of amazing this month. Even before officially joining the team, Pup was already contributing at a level far beyond expectations and since stepping into her role, she’s continued to raise the bar. From token items and the member pickaxe, to crafting competitions, warp puzzle, and everything Fruitmas - all done with impressive speed and consistently high quality. Thank you and congrats, Pup!
