It’s the last weekly post until Christmas! Hope you’re all having fun in the festive season!

Caves and cliffs or cliffs and caves? Either way, the latest Minecraft update has landed on Fruit Survival bringing some massive gameplay changes! 1.18 is still a very new version, so things will be laggy and there are some bugs. It is highly recommended that you use Optifine or some other mod to improve the render distance on the server. The fog that Mojang introduced in 1.18 allows you to see even less than 1.17 even if the same chunks are still loaded. A massive thank you to everyone who helped get the new map ready. A special thank you must go to Vyper_Bear and Oeuq for the amazing new spawn. It looks really beautiful! A brand new season of Fruit Quests is also live! Thank you BorisOZ for organising them.

Along with the reset a few plugins are yet to update to 1.18. These include:

When they update, we will put them back on the server as soon as possible.

1.18 is here! Our new map started on Friday with a fancy, shiny new spawn built by our amazing builders Vyper_Bear and Oeuq! They worked tirelessly in a short amount of time and put together a fantastic spawn, so make sure you let them know what a great job they did. Thank you for all your hard work Vyper and Oeuq.

To go with our new map and new spawn we have new token shop items, so start saving those tokens up now, you will want to collect them all! Head to /warp token to check them out. Thank you to B0GGSY for putting together another beautiful set of token shop items, I can not wait to get my hands on them!

And finally, when you are tired from all your cave exploring, we have a new season of quests, with some festive quests in the lead up to Christmas, and lots of chances to earn some token shards and other prizes, type /fq in game to see what quests are available this week. A lot of work goes in behind the scenes to create a season of quests, thank you to BorisOZ and St0nkatr0n for all the hard work!

Introducing /patchnotes!

Pixelmon requires constant changes and balancing in order to keep everything fair, and enjoyable. However, it has become evident that there needs to be a more reliable method of communication with the community - when so many changes happen in such a short period of time. As such, /patchnotes will be updated (to the best of our ability) to reflect any and all changes made to the playable game of the players. We hope you enjoy it!

In the last week, many changes were made to dens in an effort to make them more balanced - in particular, legendaries were reduced significantly.
We also updated to 8.3.5, and what an update it was! This introduced more bugs than it fixed, and we are asking for the community to be as patient as possible with the mod developers, and hope to see an 8.3.6 hotfix to these issues soon.

Overall, it has been a vibrant reset. It has been great receiving so much feedback about changes that are made, and I would encourage everybody to get in touch with staff, or visit the dedicated feedback channel on Discord to let us know what you think.

Pixelmon Rental Team Tournament
