Welcome to another monthly recap!

Holidays have begun! I know just the place for you guys to spend your free time. Staff have been putting in extra hours to accomodate the influx of new players joining and they've also been hosting extra events whenever there's enough players online. More on that later, let's get right into the post!

Token Shops
Last month the token shop was introduced on survival and ultra-powerful items were unveiled over the course of a week. Skyblock now also has a token shop and there is a variety of items players can work towards, most of which are more powerful than anything you can attain elsewhere! Make sure you attend those events and snag tokens off /ah whenever you get a chance, those items are too good to miss.

Holiday Madness
Ahtnamas80 and demski prepared for the holidays by building a massive fair for the players to muck around in over on survival. With random events being hosted almost daily, plenty of special prizes are being handed out and we've seen the first few token items handed out!

Selfie of the Week!
You guys wanted more methods of winning tokens, and we're slowly responding. Selfie of the week consists of you guys submitting a photo of yourself to the thread and whoever is featured in the following weekly post will win a token! Simple, right? Here's a link to the thread, show us your photography skills!

Halloween Hype!
I can't go into detail about what we're planning for Halloween, but it's going to be fun. I hope you're as excited as I am, the builders are working on a few special builds just for Halloween!

Shop Purchases
No surprises here, we've smashed our goals on both servers again. Great job everyone, the special surprise H1 mentioned in the last post is getting closer and closer! (I think I'm more excited about this than anyone else...)

Voting Competition
Reminder to everyone that votes are tallied up for the post a few hours before the end of the month so sneaking in a couple of votes right at the end may not help. Thanks to everyone for voting as often as possible, and congratulations to these winners who've nabbed a voucher for themselves! 4 winners this time around, all frequent skyblock players. Time to pump up those numbers survival players!

Build Competition
The theme for September was Futuristic, and we barely scraped through hitting the minimum of five entries. Thankfully that means we get to pick 3 winners. Congratulations to these three winners!

We're going to go a different route for October's theme. Selected by H1N9, the theme for October will be "A day in the life of me!" It goes without saying that we expect every single entry to be very unique and you will need to be extra creative for this one. We want you to illustrate everything for us in such a way that we don't even have to look at your forum post to understand what your build is about! As an added incentive, every single complete entry that does not earn a top 3 place will be rewarded with a token on the server of their choice.

Competition Rules
- Build must be finished by 30th October.
- Players are restricted to working individually.
- Build must be completed on the Creative Server.
- Do not build chestrooms, spawners, massive farms etc. We want creativity, not everyday things.
- Only one entry per individual.
- No pixel art!
- Keep redstone minimal if you must use it.
- Do NOT copy anyone else's builds, not even ones you find on Google images!
- Minimum 5 entries. There will be no winners announced if we don't get at least 5 entries!
- Builds need to be started and completed within the same month. You cannot use assets from previous entries.

Top Players

FruitServers is an amazing community because of the people that are a part of it. Every month one player and one staff member from both Survival and Skyblock are selected and acknowledged for their contribution to the server, whether it be ingame or behind the scenes.

Player of the month Survival - emoji_cat. Emoji has been a pleasure to interact with on discord and makes every effort to participate in events and competitions we host. Well done emoji!

Staff of the month Survival - Ahtnamas80 and demski. Sam and dem are the masterminds behind the fruity fair which was built just to keep players happy throughout the holidays. Their efforts every month make them absolutely integral to how survival runs and they deserve a shoutout for their performances.

Player of the month Skyblock - NoisyBabyCreeper. Noisy has caught the attention of staff this month with their exemplary behaviour in-game and their generosity towards other players. Well done Noisy!

Staff of the month Skyblock - SpookyWitty. Time and again Witty stands out amongst her group for the way she goes above and beyond in her duties as a Moderator. For her consistent efforts she is recognized as staff of the month yet again. Fantastic work Witty!

Survival and Skyblock are lucky to have such strong moderating and build teams, however we are always accepting applications for both of these roles. At the moment we aren't accepting applications for event-coordinator as the role is undergoing revision.Think you have what it takes to join one of these fantastic teams?
