It’s your friendly neighbourhood Event Team! We’re back with another week of JUICY updates, and are creeping ever-closer to the spookiest holiday of the year.

Each of our servers are being spookified, so keep one eye open for some tricks and of course the treats!

Lot's of treats this week!

We have a super spooky and fun filled few weeks planned for you all. So get those spooky skins out and join us for some fun. Here is a quick rundown of things.

Crafting Comp - Starts Next Friday for Survival, Skyblock and Pixelmon!

- Survival -

Head to /warp fruitoween for a frightening fun time at our mini spooky event area, where you can play a variety of games, and be in the running for some cool trophies and prizes. We will be running pop up events, and competitions over the next couple of weeks including a skin comp, Haunted Homes comp, scary selfie comp and many others, for more information see https://bit.ly/34WvAGg

- Skyblock -

Skyblock has a brand new Halloween themed spawn! There are a range of activities including a word hunt and stuff planned.

- Pixelmon -

Pixelmon's spawn biome has been changed to Ominous Woods for the duration of Halloween! Find yourself some spooky ghost types while you can, and say goodbye to seeing obnoxiously common legendaries appearing at spawn for a while! (Looking at you Tapu Lele)!

Staff Appreciation DayI would like to thank all of the players who wrote books for our staff appreciation day yesterday. The staff really do love reading them. A massive thank you as well to our fantastic staff team who truly make Fruit the amazing community that it is. Your dedication to Fruit is amazing.Now with every treat comes a trick, so here is the lowlight of our announcements:Server DowntimeOver the next week and a half there will be two lots of downtime for the server. The first lot of downtime is on the 20th of October from 1AM to 5AM Sydney time. This will only impact Fruit Pixelmon. The second lot of downtime will be on the 27th and will impact all servers. This downtimes are so the host can upgrade some infrastructure in their datacentre.

The theme for September's build competition will be TROPICAL!

This build comp is a big one! But we can always count on you guys to produce great builds. You never know what you are capable of until you try!

COMPETITION RULES:

✔ The build is limited to 200x200 in size, we'd suggest marking out these dimensions beforehand. There is no height limit.

✔ The build must follow the theme - Tropical!

✔ The build must be completed by 11:59PM 29th September 2020 (AEST)

✔ You are permitted to work in teams of THREE (3) at most! Prizes will be split accordingly.

✔ All entries must be built on the Creative server.

✔ As cool as pixel art is, this isn't the place for it.

✔ Don't copy another person's work, BE ORIGINAL!

ENTRY AND PRIZE STRUCTURE:

A forum thread will be made where you can submit your entries as well as find out what the prize structure will be. To make things easier for everyone, please only submit your entry on the prize structure thread. Lazy attempts will receive a substantially smaller prize, you have been warned!

Remember - 15 quality entries and the prizes will increase!
