✪ Hey Fruitsters! It’s Majestyy_ and Bayleecraft here! We’re back with another week of juicy news. Fruitlympics is just around the corner, so keep your eyes peeled on that universal event! We have some more awesome news too, with PIXELMON being announced. The brand new server will be released on the 20th of June, this coming Saturday! So get comfy, and let’s visit the going-ons of fruitservers!

The first pre-release for 1.16 were released by Mojang last week. I've seen a lot of players ingame ask why we haven't updated and when we will. Firstly, 1.16 isn't out yet. This is only a beta of 1.16, shown by the fact that the snapshot turned out to permanently corrupt the worlds it updated from 1.15.

Mojang is known for their excessively buggy and painful Minecraft updates. Traditionally, we have only had to wait for plugins to update before we could move to the new version. Over the past few years, each update that Mojang has released has continue to get worse. More bugs, more lag, worse than ever performance. As a result, we now spend a lot of time and money optimising plugins and running our own custom .jar. These take time - much longer than plugins to code and as a result, I will not be rushing into updating to 1.16.

There have been a lot of clues over the past month or so about our top secret project. Unfortunately, most people concluded that Fruit Factions was coming. I am very excited to announce that Fruit Pixelmon will launch next Saturday. This has been a mammoth project for everyone involved and we can't wait for everyone to see it.

This week has been a big week for survival staff as we have many promotions! v0rty and poshkid have been promoted to mod! We also have many mod+ promotions!! Please welcome kavazy, Vallkyrrie, Spookytrix, Yaboigoodstuff and raqus to the mod+ gang!! We also say a very sad goodbye to DiamondMaster98, Gxoku, Blanche_Soul and Makeshift_Demon. Thank you for all your hard work.

Build Competition - Theme for June is MOVIES!

The possibilities for this comp are endless, limited only by your imagination.  Remember the more players who enter the build comp, the better the prizes become, so get together with your friends and start working on those movie themed builds now.

Competition Rules

The build is limited to 100x100 in size, we'd suggest marking out these dimensions beforehand.

• The build must follow the theme - Movies!

• The build must be completed by 11:59pm 29th June, 2020 (AEST)

• You must work alone, you will be disqualified if others help you.

• All entries must be built on the Creative server.

• As cool as pixel art is, this isn't the place for it.

• Don't copy another person's work, BE ORIGINAL!

Entry and Prize Structure

A forum thread will be made where you can submit your entries as well as find out what the prize structure will be. To make things easier for everyone, please only submit your entry on the prize structure thread. Lazy attempts will receive a substantially smaller prize, you have been warned!
