Welcome to the April recap! By now most of you have settled into your lockdown routines quite comfortably and I'm sure there's a bigger audience than normal sitting down to read the monthly recap. Plenty of exciting things to talk about, let's jump right into it!

New Plugins - FruitSkyblock Fly/God Tokens
By now most of you would have noticed some nifty little tokens in the crates that temporarily give Fly or God. Fairly self-explanatory, these tokens were once a feature a long time ago and have since returned due to popular demand. Next time you see _Scyy online, let him know what you think! Thanks _Scyy!

New Bosses - FruitPrison
Get excited FruitPrison fanatics, there's a couple of new bosses you can sink your weapons into! Planet 13 now has a fearsome ancient entity going by the name of Baldur the Immortal standing in the way of people wanting to finish their FruitPrison adventure. In sadder news, I am disappointed to announce planet 4's new secondary boss..... FingerLickingGoodsta. Go on and find out for yourself what that abomination is capable of.

Easter Crafting Competition!
The Easter Bunny returned to Fruitservers for another couple of weeks of intense grinding - up for grabs was a choice of either $150 or certain gaming peripherals. Congratulations to Headlouse and Xtalize for winning the grand prize, enjoy those fancy new perks!

Donations
The Fruitservers network has enjoyed a phenomenally successful month, with FruitSkyblock having it's most successful month to date since release and FruitSurvival quite possibly also having it's most successful month to date (someone will need to fact check this). H1N9 has been alluding to a big project making use of these donations - I wonder what that's about?

Voting Competition
Reminder to everyone that votes are tallied up for the post a few hours before the end of the month so sneaking in a couple of votes right at the end may not help. Props to everyone for keeping voting as competitive as it has been, looks like everyone is eager to win themselves a voucher! A somewhat unique month where all 3 winners have tied for 1st place this time; well done to black_templa, SkellyBG, and artistacat! Enjoy your vouchers and remember to keep voting!

Build Competition
Another successful month for the revamped Build Competition! In total we received almost 15 entries, although it would've been nice to see more effort in the entries. We're looking to up the rewards of the comps if at least 15 people submit QUALITY entries with lots of effort so work your magic on the next comp to  make it happen! Congratulations to these talented builders on winning prizes - this month was very difficult to judge and undoubtedly some of the decisions will be controversial. The theme for May's build competition will be Dystopia!

Competition Rules

• The build is limited to 100x100 in size, we'd suggest marking out these dimensions beforehand.
• The build must follow the theme - Dystopia!
• The build must be completed by 11:59pm 29th May, 2020 (AEST)
• You must work alone, you will be disqualified if others help you.
• All entries must be built on the Creative server.
• As cool as pixel art is, this isn't the place for it.
• Don't copy another person's work, BE ORIGINAL!

Entry and Prize Structure
A forum thread will be made where you can submit your entries as well as find out what the prize structure will be. To make things easier for everyone, please only submit your entry on the prize structure thread. Lazy attempts will receive a substantially smaller prize, you have been warned! Remember - 15 quality entries and the prizes will increase!

Top Players

FruitServers is an amazing community because of the people that are a part of it. Every month one player and one staff member from Survival, Skyblock, and Prison are selected and acknowledged for their contribution to the server, whether it be ingame or behind the scenes.

Player of the month Skyblock - Natjatasja. One of the friendliest faces on FruitSkyblock, you can count on Nat for assistance whenever she's online. Keep it up Nat!

Player of the month Prison - B3ast619. Sometimes I ask myself - does B3ast ever log off and get rest? With the way he grinds through FruitPrison, you'd be forgiven for thinking it's his livelihood. Keep it up B3ast!

Staff of the month Survival - The 3 Musketeers. This month's SOTM award goes to Moe, Larry and Curly.  Over the last month they have dedicated a massive amount of hours to being online, helping players and keeping everyones spirits high!  Their hard work and dedication to the server has been invaluable and we want to take this chance to recognise their amazing efforts and say thanks for everything you do, good work! - Ahtnamas80

Staff of the month Skyblock - snowpeaa. Since returning, young snowpeaa has very quickly cemented his position amongst the FruitSkyblock staff team and become a huge asset to the community. Keep it up snowpeaa!

Staff of the month Prison - Its_Rothy. Young Rothy has worked closely with Skelly since joining the team to bring unique events to the server. We look forward to seeing what else you come up with Rothy!

Survival, Prison, and Skyblock are lucky to have such strong moderating teams, however we are always accepting applications for all of our staff roles. Our wonderful Event and Build Teams in particular are still looking to grow so if you'd like to be a part of something special do consider looking into these roles.
