Beyond the Bowl
This week in the Fruitbowl, over on Survival I would love to officially welcome Reeke to the team! He was promoted to Moderator and he couldn’t be loving it more! On another exciting note, we saw Matea78 finally promote to V-Moderator! Congratulations to our new two promotions! On a much sader note... we saw ItsSquish step down from her Builder Position! She will be deeply missed and we thank her for everything she has done for us! As this leaves ReddeadFlame alone, if you feel as though you have the dedication and responsiblitiy to build for the server.. Apply! Theres no harm in it!
Survival has a brand new plugin called FruitProtect which allows people to prevent griefing of their item frames, armour stands and leash knots! This plugin is very easy to use, simply place any of these items and they are automatically protected. Please report any bugs in the forums.
Creative now has two new donor ranks, Apricot and PassionFruit. This was based off early feedback so we hope you like them! Also, brushes have been added to the creative store.
Over the course of this week, Fruit will be moving from Teamspeak to Discord. This is so that we can interact with more members of our community than ever before!
Events
Kicking off this weeks events, we had a few rounds of Spleef on the 15th of February! We had SilverDeviluke, Le_Commandant, Kzxo500 and SparkleyFlopcorn walk away with some very special prizes and we hope everyone who turned up had an amazing time!
Following up the Spleef, two days later on the 17th of February we had a slight change in plans and ended up playing thunderdome instead! Congratulations to FancyHansyPansy, Dimbotron, EstherBunny, Mad_Master & Mr_Horizon for winning some very special prizes!
Build Competition
The theme for February will be Valentines! A fitting theme for the month of love. All entries are to be done in the new Creative Server /warp creative. As you all now have basic world edit access, we expect to see some truly amazing entries! Vouchers earned from competitions held in the Creative server will not count towards your donation total.
Competition Rules
- There must be a minimum of five entries or there will be no winners for the month.
- Build must be finished by 28th February.
- Players are restricted to working individually.
- Build must be completed in the Creative Server.
- Do not build chestrooms, spawners, massive farms etc. We want creativity, not everyday things.
- Only one entry per individual.
- No pixel art!
- Keep redstone minimal if you have to use it.
- Do NOT copy anyone else's builds, not even ones you find on Google images!
PLEASE NOTE: If you are entering the competition, please find the competition on the forums and post you IGN and your plot coordinates!!!!!! Or else you will not be entered into the competition.
