- Easter

Keep your eyes peeled for announcements coming out this week about our Easter events! Something big is coming!

- Skyblock Reset

Reminder that the skyblock reset is on Tuesday morning. This means everything except ranks and perks will be reset, allowing everyone to start again on level playing field. We hope you'll join us on Tuesday to see what's been changed!

- Skywars improvements

Benjabot has continued his fantastic work with SkyWars! More improvements and bug fixes were rolled out this week including:

- Fixed issue with players getting stuck in portal and being half registered into a game. Disabled glass colours for now

- Following commands now allowed in game (can only be used if you have the permissions): mute, kick, ban, speed, m, msg, mail, skywars list

- Removed MCMMO Integration - no more risk of MCMMO levels getting reset on server restart/crash if in a match

- MCMMO is now disabled in skywars worlds

- Countdown timer is no longer reset when a new player joins

- Countdown timer changed from 30s to 60s

- “No drop” improvements

Players can now list all of the items on their no drop list with /nd list

This makes it much easier to remove items from your list if you have lost them via death or put them in a chest you can't locate!

- Members get an extra plot on creative now

- Server Performance Improvements

I've spent a lot of time this week working with the developer for our custom jars to improve the performance for Survival and Skyblock due to the increased player counts. This week has seen a massive improvement but there are some bugs while we edit stuff. Please report them to staff

This week we have some good and bad news! Sadly we say goodbye for now to our wonderful builder AidenMcG, we will miss you dearly! On a happier note our three amigo’s got their promotions to full Moderators! Congratulations to kavazy, trixpeeaa and Vallkyrrie!

Events!

On Wednesday we played April Fools Bingo! This oddball event involved switching boards! How wacky! Congratulations to the winners of the event; palrr, poppy_chan, brekkie, chloeconda, MRBearXD and meloonnn!

On Friday the staff got to flex their Zeus powers and smite you all in Thunderdome! The people who survived the zaps the longest were; trooper_tom, chillmania, twiinkles, RoyinBrun, Toastabath, poppy_chan, Noodles4Lunch, Insanity____ and Pyrotato_!

SKYWARS is looking fabulous again with a little help from Ascacos and Benjabot_, thanks guys!

We’ve got some exciting updates this week! Congratulations to COOKlEMAN and Aurione on their TRIALS! Another huge pat on the back to Ephidia on EVENT-C!

Events

We had some fantastic events played this Thursday!

First on the agenda, the people of Skyblock dance dance danced around in Magical Chairs! The winners this week were ExpressoYourself, EA_Gamers and Moshy__!

Then we had a fantastic game of Parkour run! The players with the best balance were ItzBezz, TykaH, EA_Gamers, ExpressoYourself, chloeconda, Seitanist666 and Headadmin!

We had a series of battles across the sky to wrap up the night in Skywars! Those who emerged victorious were UltraViper66, _Tempah_, EA_Gamers, ItzBezz, Chloeconda, ExpressoYourself, snowpeaa, PotatoJacket, RhedaWarrior and Pangpang334!

Hip hip hooray! It’s Saturday!

In our first event of Hide and Seek, the players searched for those sneaky staff members! The players with the quickest eyes this week were Kuote, RhedaWarrior, squidsterr, JVIDZ, Bayleecraft, EA_Gamers, Moshy__, TheFishBandit, chloeconda and Briarious!

It’s a 1 in 4 chance with this next game, Corners! The players who counted those ticks were Benjabot, OlAngryBurger and Seitanist666!

We all love fruit here on fruitservers, so we decided to play some Apple Hunt! Those who found the red fruit first were chloeconda, ElectricMelon, JVIDZ, PotatoJacket, uwulize, lMeatyl, RhedaWarrior and Bayleecraft!

And a little bonus prize to uwulize and TheFishBandit for being our best dancers of the night!

Remember! Skyblock hosts its two Games Nights on Thursday and Saturday, so be sure to come along at 8pm AEDT for your chance to win some cool prizes, such as event tokens!!!

Prison Events

On Tuesday night we hosted plenty of events! Our first event to start off the night was Anvil Drop! Reubs, Shakoda, B3ast619, uwulize and Buttjamint were the final people standing whilst dodging those anvils! Next up we had some slimy spleef rounds! Uwulize, Shakoda, spleggeti, Netzaltali and Its_Rothy were our winners for spleef! Our final event that we hosted was Bingo! uwulize,SkellyBG,trixpeeaa, hakunamatata0805 and buttjamint were the lucky winners!

On Sunday night we hosted some great events to start off our Fruity week! Primordus, Zovekai and Shredabayn choosing the lucky corners in a Pop-Up event of Corners before our Event Night!

To kick off Sunday night we hosted Anvil Drop! Shakoda, Its_Rothy, B3ast619, SkellyBG and Chloeconda were the lucky ninja’s that dodge the anvils! Spleef was next and Netzaltali, Shakoda,spleggeti and Its_Rothy were the sneaky winners of the Spleef rounds! We finished the night off with Hide and Seek! Shakoda, _Scyy, Bayleecraft, Buttjamint and Muzzz were the lucky seekers!

Build Competition

Build Competitions have returned!!

This month's theme is Fantasy!

Competition Rules

• The build is limited to 100x100 in size, we'd suggest marking out these dimensions beforehand.
• The build must follow the theme - Fantasy!
• The build must be completed by 12pm 31st March, 2020 (AEDT)
• You must work alone, you will be disqualified if others help you.
• All entries must be built on the Creative server.
• As cool as pixel art is, this isn't the place for it.
• Don't copy another person's work, BE ORIGINAL!

Prize Structure

• Less than 5 entries = A token on the server of your choice along with varying cash prize (20k~150k)
• Between 5 and 10 entries = Standard vouchers for top 3, varying cash prize (50k~250k) for everyone, and 2 tokens for each entrant on the server of your choice.
• More than 10 entries = Standard vouchers and an extra plot for top 3, varying cash prize (300k) for everyone, and 3 tokens for each entrant on the server of your choice.

As we're trialling a new prize structure, we're keen to hear people's thoughts and feedback. Looking forward to seeing renewed interest in the build competition!
