February Recap
Written by Goldsta

February Recap Time!
Good morning/afternoon/evening Fruitsters! I am your host for this month's recap, Big G! (Yes, that disgusting nickname has somehow made its way back). Hopefully everyone enjoyed the month of love, Easter is right around the corner now. There's also plenty of other things planned for the coming weeks, however I can't spoil that in my little intro. Enough chit-chat, onto the post!

Fruitbowl News

More Store Additions?!
Keep an eye out for even more store additions on Survival, Skyblock, and Creative. As usual, remember to be vocal about any ideas you may have for perks. Big shout out to Aaron192 who's posted a thread suggesting bundles in Skyblock's store. Little quality of life adjustments like these can go a long way in making the store more appealing to everyone!

Donations
Those who stay awake for the monthly post every time must get tired of reading this segment again and again, however I can do little but heap praise on everyone for their incredible support! You guys are supporting the development of fun new additions to the server, thank you Fruitsters!

Valentines Event Winners
As with most seasonal events, we hosted a special collection event where the grand prize for each server was a beautiful little Razer Lancehead Gaming Mouse! Many hours were spent grinding, many people chased those elusive top tier prizes from Cupid. Congratulations to the winners of this event!

Voting Competition
Reminder to everyone that votes are tallied up for the post a few hours before the end of the month so sneaking in a couple of votes right at the end may not help. Voting has become insanely competitive as of late. Everyone is eager to win a vote voucher! Due to the number of winners this month, the two people tied for 1st will get a voucher and everyone else who tied for 3rd will get 20k in-game cash. Congratulations to Doctre_Sween and Apocalypsing who tied for 1st. Keep up the amazing suppport!

Build Competition

For the first time in a long time, I'm happy to say I was VERY impressed with the number of entries for the build competition! It looks like people took full advantage of the simple nature of the theme, which was Fantasy. A handful of entries stood out, with some entrants going the extra mile and giving their build a backstory. Props to these winners!

March's build competition theme will be Byzantine! Recreate the beauty of some of the world's most exotic infrastructure! Or just rebuild what you saw in one of the Assassin's Creed games. Your call.

Competition Rules
- Build must be finished by 30th March.
- Players are restricted to working individually.
- Build must be completed on the Creative Server.
- Do not build chestrooms, spawners, massive farms etc. We want creativity, not everyday things.
- Only one entry per individual.
- No pixel art!
- Keep redstone minimal if you must use it.
- Do NOT copy anyone else's builds, not even ones you find on Google images!
- Minimum 5 entries. There will be no winners announced if we don't get at least 5 entries!
- Builds need to be started and completed within the same month. You cannot use assets from previous entries.
- Completed entries that don't earn a top prize will net the builder a token on the server of their choice.

Top Players

FruitServers is an amazing community because of the people that are a part of it. Every month one player and one staff memberfrom both Survival and Skyblock are selected and acknowledged for their contribution to the server, whether it be ingame or behind the scenes.

Staff of the month Survival - Sleepy_Ninja. Sleepy has displayed nothing but diligence throughout his time as staff. Always making sure he gets the job done, Sleepy has very quickly cemented his status as one of the most reliable.

Player of the month Skyblock - xNybx. Nyb's welcoming demeanour and his general positive attitude is always appreciated when he's around. Always interacting with players and exemplifying what it means to be a stand-out in this community, Nyb leads by example. Well done!

Staff of the month Skyblock - KingGodfrey. Godfrey, like many exemplary staff on skyblock, endeavours to make the players happy at his own expense. Sometimes this means he'll host an event on his own. Other times it means he'll stay on for ridiculous amounts of time just to make sure someone is always around to help players. Amazing effort Godfrey!

Survival and Skyblock are lucky to have such strong moderating and build teams, however we are always accepting applications for both of these roles. Mister Bulk_Bogan now has Lagoonaa as backup however the event team is still looking to grow so if you'd like to be a part of something special, consider looking into this role. Think you have what it takes to join one of these fantastic teams? Submit an application at www.fruitservers.net/staff

As mentioned in previous months we always look forward to hearing feedback from you guys about possible improvements. If you have ideas, please share them with us either through the website, in-game, or via discord. We want to know what you think!

This is Big G, signing out (and wishing for a better nickname when the next monthly post rolls around)
See you all in-game!

End of Post.
