Survival

We have introduced a new mob protection plugin for mobs which you tame.

This is designed to stop other players from killing those mobs. Once you tame a mob, it will now be protected for you.

Nobody else will be able to touch the mob, move the mob or kill it.

There is a small issue where cats and wolves are locked for the users who have protected them but this will be fixed in the coming days.

You can now teleport with leashed mobs to your home. I hope that this will be a really useful feature which will especially benefit new players. For example, if you find a cow out in the wild and you really need to take it home, you can attach a leash to it and type /home. The cow will come with you! This applies to all mobs that you can apply a leash on.

Skyblock

The issue with villagers not taking up their professions on skyblock has been resolved. As a result, we have had to remove for now a plugin which greatly reduces the impact villagers have on the performance of the server. This means it is extremely critical that you do not have excessive amounts of villagers on your island.

They will cause more lag than normal and staff will not hesitate to kill all of them. I know many players have spent a lot of time getting villagers with specific trades - so don't let this happen to you!

I have updated the crate plugin on skyblock to patch some small issues and improve the performance. If you see any bugs, typos or other issues, please alert a staff member so that it can be looked into and fixed :)

Prison

Thanks to Skelly, prison now has its very own custom advancements! There are heaps of them to unlock and more will be coming over the next few months. There are new advancements for killing the planet bosses, reaching new planets and more!

Finally, there is a revamped fishing system on prison which Skelly has been working on. You can now catch custom tokens which can be redeemed for fancy custom enchants.

Staff Updates

We have many new staff on survival currently and we would love to welcome the 2 new tmods! gxoku and pcjackson! Please make them feel welcome! And we also have a new mod+ nickygs! Big congrats to him. But all good things must come to an end sadly, as we the post writers have lost one of our own. We say goodbye to Mrrandom287, he worked so hard as event c and he will be sorely missed. We wish him well.

Events!

On Wednesday we played a few casual rounds of fishing! The lucky fishermen were, palrr, slideyskull, opaichinacat, mdbene20, b0ggsy, aelera, vNoodles , Nochromez, huqqy_  and dilpickler!

On Friday we had our big ender dragon fight! No winners for this event.

We’re flying high this week on Skyblock!

Thursday night games are always a blast!

It was about time we played some Bingo-Bongo once more! Those who got their four-in-a-row the fastest this week were zoweey, trixpeeaa, Decoyy_, NotChungus, OMGDimez, Dari_Chew and BiggieCheese26!

What’s that noise? The sound of Music?? That’s right, Magical Chairs came dancing back for the first time in a while! The players with the best chair-stealing abilities were PotatoJacket, Nebula_ and Ascacos!

Apple Hunt was a little twisted this week, the apple were um.. GOLDEN! Those players who found those delicious apples first were snowpeaa, PotatoJacket, trixpeeaa, Xtalize, chloeconda, Renaeissance, Cayman_, Insanity____, Decoyy_, Ephidia, zoweey, EA_Gamers, Qezzop and ImPrettyCool! Phew! That’s a lot of apples.

Bingo? Again? That’s right! The people love a good game of Bingo! The winners of tonight's game were trixpeaa, IN54N3_L00N4TIC, Tazzzamin, BrapBrap, Raawryy and _Baciami_!

It’s time for Corners! Everyone got dancing to those tunes, but only a select few took home that prize. Congratulations to Cayman_, ImPrettyCool and Nebula!

Prison

Fishing Enchants are now obtainable! However, obtaining them is quite different than usual - you would use this special new currency called Fishing Tokens to buy them! How do you obtain them you ask? Simple: Travel to Planet 0’s spawn, and there will be a new NPC called the Fishing Merchant! Buy the enchant called “Token Novice” with 10 raw cod to start gaining tokens while fishing! This is just a glimpse of soon-to-come new features, so be sure to send us your feedback!

On to events, where we hosted three events on Tuesday, Spleef, King Of The Hill and Lilypad Drop! Our winners for Spleef on the night were: Its_Rothy, trixpeeaa, and ExpressoYourself. The winning players in King Of The Hill were: Reubs ExpressoYourself and buttjamint. Our talented Lilypad Drop winners of the night were: shakoda and Reubs!

• The build is limited to 100x100 in size, we'd suggest marking out these dimensions beforehand.
• The build must follow the theme - Dystopia!
• The build must be completed by 11:59pm 29th May, 2020 (AEST)
• You must work alone, you will be disqualified if others help you.
• All entries must be built on the Creative server.
• As cool as pixel art is, this isn't the place for it.
• Don't copy another person's work, BE ORIGINAL!

To make things easier for everyone, please only submit your entry on the prize structure thread. Lazy attempts will receive a substantially smaller prize, you have been warned!
