Hello fruitservers and welcome to another monthly post! As usual, many things are being planned this month behind the scenes - the subtle hints of Valentine’s Day are not so easily ignored. I’m here to give you all the juicy updates from the month of January, and a brief glimpse of the month to come!

Skyblock lag fixes

Skyblock has been plagued with some mildly annoying lag spikes in recent weeks, which should now be resolved. The battle against lag is ongoing and challenging, and we would like to thank everybody for their patience.

Pixelmon Expansion

The FruitPixelmon map is now over 7 months old so we feel it's time to change things up. A small map expansion will take place over the weekend at latest, we hope everyone manages to find their very own perfect spot to build as this map expansion has been long-anticipated by many players. Worry not, you won't lose any current builds/progress you've made. Get excited!

Staff Changes

On survival this week we said a sad farewell to RohDawg and iGoner. The team won’t be the same without these two captivating characters, thank you for everything you have done for the team!

Skyblock has been busy as we say a warm welcome to our newest trial mod, Natjat. We said a somber goodbye to Crezzie, whose void in the admin team was capably filled by Pixerative and Rappart with their promotions to admin. Congratulations!

★Vote Competition

Reminder to everyone that votes are tallied up for the post a few hours before the end of the month so sneaking in a couple of votes right at the end may not help. Props to everyone for keeping voting as competitive as it has been, looks like everyone is eager to win themselves a voucher! Great work kkgeorgie on 1st, Modestyy on 2nd, and scutchtv on 3rd. Keep up the great work everyone, please message a Community-Manager or H1N9 to redeem your voucher.

Top Players

FruitServers is an amazing community because of the people that are a part of it. Every month one player and one staff member from each server are selected and acknowledged for their contribution to the server, whether it be ingame or behind the scenes.

Player of the Month Survival - Loqzii has been the quieter of the twelvie brigade! But has always been wholesome, loyal and outstanding to our community - a true survival citizen and a great friend of all!

Player of the Month Skyblock - Scorchemy is a positive, talkative and well-known player on Skyblock, that always has something exciting in progress! They never hesitate to answer player's question or strike up in chat, making Skyblock's community warmer and more welcoming. There's never a dull moment when Scorchemy is around, their chickens can attest to that too!

Player of the Month Prison - Squandering is always a joy to be around, and enjoys being around - frequently helping new players in the process. Thank you Squandering!

Player of the Month Pixelmon - AussZee is a well known name in the Pixemon community. Since joining the server they have made quite a name for themselves - from being the number one Reshiram and Zekrom collector and they are always welcoming and helpful to all the new players that join FruitPixelmon.

Staff of the Month Survival - B0ggsy has come in like a wrecking ball to a building! The professionalism, the charisma, decency and responsibility behind him. Top bloke material - respected by all! Such a hard worker! Thank you, B0ggsy!

Staff of the Month Skyblock -  snowpeaa is always there when Skyblock needs him most, thriving with energy and team spirit. snowpeaa stepped it up again for the month of January, balancing so many different responsibilities and still finding time to fullfil his duties. Thank you snowpea!

Fruitservers is lucky to have such strong moderating teams, however we are always accepting applications for all of our staff roles. Our wonderful Event and Build Teams in particular are still looking to grow so if you'd like to be a part of something special do consider looking into these roles.
