July Recap

Plenty has happened over July, so sit back, grab some popcorn and enjoy the July Monthly Post! This post has tons of info in it, including details on the new crate rewards for Survival, tons of changes for Pixelmon, a build competition and a trial BattlePass for Prison!

The Fruitlympics was a massive success this year. After 9 long nights we have our new champions! Survival and Skyblock have both ended up with their hands on the Fruitlympics Trophy this year with the closest finishing Fruitlympics we’ve ever witnessed in Fruit History! Congratulations to Survival and Skyblock and Thank you to all staff, builders and the players who helped make Fruitlympics an amazing experience this year!

The Prison Team is excited to announce that we are releasing a Battle Pass for a Trial Period to see if everyone enjoys it! It will include quests for players to complete that go into two different types. Weekly Quests and Daily Quests! Weeklies will be worth more points towards the BattlePass tier and Dailies will be available every day but worth less points! The Trial Period will go for a month at first and will continue if we see plenty of players utilizing the BattlePass. Rewards will be varied depending on the tier you reach, best of luck and as always don’t be afraid to ask for help! We will be Launching BattlePass after Tuesday Nights Event night on August the 1st.

Pixelmon

Over the past week or so, Ahtnamas80 and myself have been busy getting to know the Pixelmon community, staff team and gameplay - which involved no small amount of tutoring from the amazing staff team! I would like to thank everybody for being so accommodating and welcoming to the both of us.

Together, we and the staff team have planned some exciting new features that will be rolled out over the next few weeks and months, including gyms and brand new skills/mcmmo! The team is on fire with passion to bring these ideas to life, and we are excited to bring this to you, the players!

Token Shop

Visit /warp token in-game to browse the complete set of token items. This include 16 weapons/armour items, and 4 consumable tokens to modify your Pokemon! Keep an eye on the token items, as there are more on the way…

Warp PVP

Pixelmon now has it’s own /warp pvp arena! You can finally put those powerful swords to use, and smack around your friends (or foes…)

Command Changes

[+] Fixed a bug with /bend <slot> and /resetevs <slot> where the command changed the Pokemon in the wrong slot

[+] NEW: /showpoke <slot> has returned! You can now show off your favourite Pokemon and recent catches in chat.

New Content

As mentioned, the Pixelmon staff team has a lot of content planned for Pixelmon. Here is a sneak peak at a rough roadmap we have put together:

There are some changes coming to the voting crates very soon, with some new items, more spawners and a new feature that will give players a chance to get sherds.

Introducing…. The Archaeologist!

After long hours spent digging through various ruins across Survival, there is nothing the Archaeologist likes more than showing off his wares at the Fruit Ruins Baraar at /warp shop, and trading their precious sherds for Ancient Relics. You can get Ancient Relics from the Vote Crate, which you can receive 2 keys for every day you vote!

Why should you vote? Well besides earning points you can spend in our Points Store (type /points in game), Vote and Party keys (you can use these at /warp crates to open reward crates), you will be helping us tell everyone about the amazing community we have here at Fruit Servers. So please remember to vote daily, it really does help us!

August Build Competition

Fruity friends! It’s time for the August Build Competition!

For this build comp, the theme was chosen by the community in a not-so-secret poll that took place in the FruitCreative channel on Discord. It was a very competitive vote between each theme but we had one emerge victorious. Drum roll please… Biome O’ Biomes!

This competition will be open from today, the 1st of August 2023 and will run until 12PM AEST on the 27th of August 2023. Everyone on fruit is able to join and will be able to participate in the Creative server. As long as you have a plot and member rank, you’ll be good to go!

Prizes for this competition will keep everyone fighting for the win this time around. Our top 3 winners will be awarded with a shiny chat-tag and other goodies for their tier!

1st place will earn themselves a store voucher of $40, $50k in-game cash, 1 Token, & 1 Party Key!
2nd place will gain themselves $50k of in-game money, 1 Token, & 1 Party Key!
3rd place will gain themselves $30k of in-game money, 1 Token, & 1 Party Key!
Places 4 - 10 will receive $10k in-game cash, 1 Token, & 1 Party Key!
Places 11 - 15 will receive $5k in-game cash & 1 Party Key!
Places 15+ will receive 1 Party Key!

Fruitservers is an amazing community because of the people that are a part of it. Every month one player and one staff member from each server are selected and acknowledged for their contribution to the server, whether it be in-game or behind the scenes.

Over the last couple of months I would have been lost without the constant dedication of Claudiaiia. She has spent so many hours helping me organise so many different events around Survival, including building new events, organising dino week, helping organise pride week events, and spending a huge amount of time helping with Fruitlympics and Survivals reset. Through all the many hours we have spent working together, she always manages to keep me laughing, motivated, and most importantly organised! Thank you Claudiaiia for keeping me sane! You are an amazing staff member and builder.‌ ‌

Punksten has shown his true energetic colours this month, helping out proactively throughout the entire 9 days of Fruitlympics, our biggest events of the year. Punksten positively contributes to event nights by creating a welcoming environment for all, both in-game and in our events voice channel. Congratulations Punksten!

_Raining is a friendly and approachable staff member who has shown an incredible amount of dedication to their role this month. Whether it's greeting new players, sharing their vast Pixlemon knowledge or engaging in fun chats, _Raining's warmth and positivity are contagious. _Raining has been an incredibly active staff member this month, and we truly appreciate their commitment to the community. Thank you for everything you do _Raining!

Paww__ has become a very well known face around the server the last couple of months. They are often seen engaging in chat, helping others, answering questions and just generally brightening the mood on the server. Thank you for being such a positive member of the community Paww__, and congratulations on this well earned recognition.

Mystic_Hawk was one of Skyblock's star players through Fruitlympics, making us proud not only by winning points for the server but more importantly by showing great community spirit and sportsmanship across all events. Mystic shows this same attitude on a daily basis on Skyblock, helping out new members of the community in-game, and supporting the server competitively through voting. Congratulations Mystic!‌ ‌

Shardblade_ has become a regular face around the server, who spends a lot of time helping others, always ready to lend a hand to anyone who needs it. Having a player like Shardblade_ around helps to create the amazing community we have, and is one of the reason why people look forward to the time they share online. Congratulations Shardblade_, thank you for being an amazing member of the community.‌ ‌

Fruitservers is lucky to have such strong moderating teams, however we are always accepting applications for all of our staff roles. Our wonderful Event and Build Teams in particular are still looking to grow so if you'd like to be a part of something special do consider looking into these roles.
