June Recap
Written by H1N9

Welcome to another monthly recap!
July is here! Exams are over! Holiday fun is everywhere! It has been another busy month for everyone, especially those of us at Fruit who do a lot of the planning behind the scenes! This month will see the start of the Fruitlympics – the biggest event in Fruit Servers history! So strap yourself in, it is going to be an amazing month!

Fruitbowl News

Starting on Monday 3rd July and finishing 9th July the first Fruitlympics will be run, battling out between Skyblock and Survival. This will involve 5 different events across 3 servers. Make sure you have signed up for your server and the events you want to participate in!

Rank Glitching

If your rank has disappeared after a name change or if you believe you should be a rank and are not then please contact me in a PM so that I can fix the issue. We have also encountered issues recently where our purchase store has been sending commands through twice to the server. If this is the case please report the issue otherwise it might cause future rankup problems for you and your account.

Congratulations to this month’s top donors! Your support has made several of the cool new features coming this month possible as well as making our update to 1.12 really smooth!

Voting Competition
Voting was once again incredibly close this month! A reminder to everyone competing that votes are tallied up roughly 2 hours before the monthly post goes up so if you manage to sneak in a couple of votes too late, they won't count for the competition. Congratulations to these winners.

Voting is a very simple way of showing the server your support, and you get rewarded for it by receiving keys to open super special crates in-game! Not only that, the 3 most dedicated voters receive donation vouchers at the end of each month which they can use to spoil themselves (or others)! Please note that these vouchers do NOT count towards your donation total.

Build Competition

There were lots of fantastic entries this month for the build competition which made judging the top three places very hard! Judging was based off building to the theme of Steampunk, size of the build and level of detail.

Competition Rules
- Build must be finished by 30th July.
- Players are restricted to working individually.
- Build must be completed on the Creative Server.
- Do not build chestrooms, spawners, massive farms etc. We want creativity, not everyday things.
- Only one entry per individual.
- No pixel art!
- Keep redstone minimal if you must use it.
- Do NOT copy anyone else's builds, not even ones you find on Google images!
- Minimum 5 entries. There will be no winners announced if we don't get at least 5 entries!
- Builds need to be started and completed within the same month. You cannot use assets from previous entries.

Top Players

FruitServers is an amazing community because of the people that are a part of it. Every month one player and one staff member from both Survival and Skyblock are selected and recognized for their contribution to the server, whether it be ingame or behind the scenes.

Player of the month Survival - NaaTilly > Naatilly is always up for a friendly chat with both players and staff, being easy to talk to is a wonderful quality to have. Well done!

Staff of the month Survival - Rohdawg1998 > Roh is an extremely friendly staff member who is always willing to offer a hand ingame and on Discord. He also manages to balance his time ingame as a staff member with many of his personal commitments as well.

Player of the month Skyblock – Aba_Squido > They are active, kind, courteous, follow the rules of the server exceptionally, and are supporting the Best Block Team with immense pride.

Staff of the month Skyblock - GeekxBoy > Geek's work this month in helping myself update the servers to 1.12, in particular Skyblock has been massive and simply could not have been done without him! He has worked tirelessly to fix bugs in not just his own plugins to make sure the process went as smoothly as possible.

Beyond the Bowl

Finger Spinners! If you are cool and trendy like Goldsta, a finger spinner is a must have accessory! Luckily for you, we got some specially made Fruit Servers finger spinners done, complete with a beautiful Fruit logo and made from stainless steel. Even better, they double as a keyring! Check them out here. They are $15 including postage to anywhere in Australia.

As always, we are accepting staff, builder and event manager applications. If you feel like you meet the criteria for these roles, I'd strongly encourage you to apply. If you're unsure of the criteria at any point in time, please feel free to ask staff members to clarify things.

May the best server win!

End of Post.
