Valentines' Weekend Events

This weekend is going to filled with fruity games and love! Make sure to get online for our Valentines' weekend. The crafting competition will start later this week with cool rewards and collectibles up for grabs.

Friday - Survival - Valentines' Regicide

Saturday - Skyblock - Speed Dating

Sunday - Prison - Valentines' Anvil Drop

Monday - Pixelmon - Valentines Build Battles

Account Migration - Transferring Perks

From 10 March, Mojang will require you to have transferred your Minecraft account across to a Microsoft account.

If you don't, you will not be able to play Minecraft. Apparently they are doing this for security reasons but the entire migration is nothing but annoying. You do get a free cape for your troubles. I suggest you migrate your account as soon as possible. Many people seem to forget their Minecraft account emails and contacting Mojang to get this fixed can be a slow process.

We will only move perks and ranks across to another account if you cannot access your existing one and Mojang is unable to help you regain access.

Survival Render Distance

One of the biggest frustrations with 1.18.1 was the addition of fog and render distances being really bad. For Survival, the render distance we have on 1.18.1 is higher than 1.17, yet you can actually see less.

As of the past few days, we have been trialing a new plugin which allows for dynamic render distances based off the number of players online and the server performance. If the TPS of the server drops below 20, the plugin will restrict the render distance to reduce the server load. This plugin has made a substantial difference so far to the gameplay and you can really see a lot more of the fantastic terrain generations. This week, we would like to congratulate Katzyn for getting promoted to Mod, and we would also like to congratulate Wildborr for his promotion to Mod+, well done you two!

Massive congratulations to LeRothy, who has gone from Mod+ to Admin!

★ Skyblock ★

On Skyblock this week, we say farewell to Mod Vexikorn, we wish him good luck with completing year 12, and hope he has an amazing 2022!

★ Survival ★

Sadly this week, we say goodbye to Admin Aleecha, and Admin+ Stockerz. We wish them both well on all their future endeavours, and thank them for everything they contributed to the server!

Pixelmon Rental Team Tournament

Every Sunday night at 7pm AEDT we hold our weekly Pixelmon Rental Team Tournament. For those of you that may not be aware, you will be supplied with Pokemon during these tournaments. If you’ve just started on the server you’ve got the same chance of winning along with the big bad Pixelmon sweats!

The winners of our weekly tournaments are awarded with Shiny Token of their choice! Why not come give it a shot and see how you go!
