Welcome to the May Recap! It looks like everyone is working on returning to old routines as we move past the Corona Chaos, with lockdown restrictions very quickly easing up. We hope you still have enough time for Fruitservers and some super special surprises that we have planned for June though!

Fruitlympics 2020
Not long now until the most intense round of competitions for the year take off - Fruitlympics 2020! Make sure you're donning your team's colours and showing off the team's banner when it's time, we want to see everyone getting involved. Will Skyblock be able to run away with their first victory? Will Survival avenge their first defeat from last year? Or will Prison pull off a back-to-back victory?!

Special Surprise
Have you wondered what the majority of our build team has been up to recently? Me too! I wonder if it has anything to do with that sneaky test server I keep seeing them on... Something tells me we're due for a big reveal soon!

Voting Competition

Reminder to everyone that votes are tallied up for the post a few hours before the end of the month so sneaking in a couple of votes right at the end may not help. Props to everyone for keeping voting as competitive as it has been, looks like everyone is eager to win themselves a voucher! Great work SkellyBG on 1st place, Hoyz91 on second place, and biffaplayz on third place! Enjoy your vouchers and remember to keep voting!

Build Competition

Oh no! May's build competition ended up having disastrous results with only TWO entries! We were really looking forward to amping up the rewards if we received enough quality entries - we hope June's build competition is a lot more popular. Remember to ask around if you need help with the theme, receiving only 2 entries is super disappointing. The theme for June's build competition will be... Movies!

Competition Rules

• The build is limited to 100x100 in size, we'd suggest marking out these dimensions beforehand. There is no height limit.
• The build must follow the theme - Movies!
• The build must be completed by 11:59pm 29th June, 2020 (AEST)
• You must work alone, you will be disqualified if others help you.
• All entries must be built on the Creative server.
• As cool as pixel art is, this isn't the place for it.
• Don't copy another person's work, BE ORIGINAL!

Entry and Prize Structure
A forum thread will be made where you can submit your entries as well as find out what the prize structure will be. To make things easier for everyone, please only submit your entry on the prize structure thread. Lazy attempts will receive a substantially smaller prize, you have been warned! Remember - 15 quality entries and the prizes will increase!

FruitServers is an amazing community because of the people that are a part of it. Every month one player and one staff member from Survival, Skyblock, and Prison are selected and acknowledged for their contribution to the server, whether it be ingame or behind the scenes.

Player of the month Survival - coconuq. A friendly name we all know, and a very helpful member of our community! Keep up the hard work, well done coconuq!

Player of the month Skyblock - Caydo__. A new face who has very quickly become popular amongst the Skyblock community for his helpfulness, and his warps! Well done Caydo.

Player of the month Prison - TheSilentKnight_. A returning player who first joined years ago, SilentKnight has been enjoying his time on FruitPrison and we've enjoyed having him back! Well done SilentKnight.

Staff of the month Survival - Billerr. Billerr has been an invaluable staff member lately, always ready with a helping hand and a friendly smile.  Thank you for everything you do Bella.

Staff of the month Skyblock - Crezzie. Always the first to volunteer their assistance to anyone who needs a hand, Crezzie's exemplary behaviour and attitude make him a fantastic role model to all Skyblockers. Well done Crezzie.

Staff of the month Prison - princessggeti. The young princess plays a very important role in the daily operations of FruitPrison, if only it weren't for his tragic choice in usernames. Keep up the great work young princess.

Survival, Prison, and Skyblock are lucky to have such strong moderating teams, however we are always accepting applications for all of our staff roles. Our wonderful Event and Build Teams in particular are still looking to grow so if you'd like to be a part of something special do consider looking into these roles.
