Another Week in March

Hiya all, MateA78 here writing this weeks post about all the fun in the Fruitbowl. Again lots of new players, some changes in the staff ranks, and some awesome events. So lets jump on in and let you all know how the week played out.

Beyond the Bowl

This week on the server we a new member added to our build team. Congratulations to ptownnoob being promoted to Builder. We look forward to seeing some of your creations in around the server. We are sure they will be a valuable member of the team. On a much sadder note, We have lost a long serving member of the Survival staff. Ipoodalittle has stepped down, we wish you all the best and i'm sure we will see her around the Fruitbowl from time to time.If you think being a Staff member is something you can do, and you think you have something to offer, why not fill in an application on the website, they are open all month. We are always looking for new players to join out staff teams. If being a moderator is not something that interests you, have a look at our event co ordinator and builder ranks, these applications are also open all month.

Events

Skyblocks.

On Tuesday players enjoyed 3 rounds of Hide'n'Seek. The staff finding thier favourite hiding spots for players to find.

Survival.

The event for Wednesday was FFA. Great fun for most with a chance to fight your fellow players in the arena. We played quite a few rounds. Bragging rights go to:

Congrats to all the winners this week. Events coming up on survival this week will be a Surprise Event on Wednesday, I wonder what it will be. On Friday we will start the weekend with a Build Battle. Don't forget to log on to the server before 8pm AEDT (Sydney Time) to join in on all the event fun and maybe even some awesome prizes!

Build Competition

The build competition theme for the month of March will be PvP Arenas! Players were very excited at the thought of their build being featured at spawn during November's build competition so we're letting you know from now that if your build is spectacular enough, we will be happy to host events on it! Your builds must be built individually (only one entry allowed per person) and finished by the 31^st of March on the Creative Server. Please do not build any forms of chestrooms, pixel arts, spawners etc. We would love to see your creative side of building! If redstone is needed please keep it to a minimal! Happy Building, enjoy!

PLEASE NOTE: To enter this build competition, please find the competition on the forums and post you IGN and your plot coordinates on it… Or else you will not be entered into the competition.

Competition Rules
- Build must be finished by 31st March.
- Players are restricted to working individually.
- Build must be completed in the Creative Server.
- Do not build chestrooms, spawners, massive farms etc. We want creativity, not everyday things.
- Only one entry per individual.
- No pixel art!
- Keep redstone minimal if you have to use it.
- Do NOT copy anyone else's builds, not even ones you find on Google images!

All done. There is the weekly rap from me. Its been another awesome week and as we get get closer to the Easter Holidays and the long awaited school holidays we are looking forward to some more surprises for everyone.
