We have an update from the one, the only H1N9! Skyblock and Creative have been updated to 1.14.4! Bugs are being patched so please report any that you encounter to a staff member so that it will be worked on asap! We also have a few plugins that will be updated more this week. Survival will too be updated to 1.14.4 this week as well so look forward to it everyone!

Survival

Hey guys, the event team has finally started making weekly word searches for you!!! As this month’s build competition and word scramble theme is videogames, we are continuing that theme within our word searches!!! Last week’s theme was Nintendo!! The Six hidden words were; Ganon, Fox, Waluigi, Squirtle, Metroid and a Mii! No one got all six words but we drew from the closest winners and the event token goes to Classico_Raab! We are also giving a party key to the one and only Almighty_Dongers as he was the only player to find the word Mii! This week’s theme is Playstation! Please come and enter the word search at /warp events!

Staff Updates

This Wednesday we had a very relaxed event night with musical chairs! However even when having a relaxed night, we still have many who are very competitive! Our quick and fast seat stealers of musical chairs are _Eryn, Kuote, TheMagicMangoMan, Piinemelon and DiamondMaster98!

And a very busy and frenzy like event filled with killing is Free For All on Friday! Many came, but not as many could win! Our vicious FFA winners this week are Jungleknowsbest, Kuote, Tehcnodono16, jdear, VaniishG, CrumpetCutie, Shad3x, Opalz, zeldagod1352, _Eryn, ARDXAM, Shlob, Asprob25 and DiamondMaster98!

We have started a forum thread for event suggestions! Do you have any awesome event ideas we can use on the server? Do you think we could run a certain event differently? Please let us know!

We run events every Wednesday and Friday night at 8pm AEDST but also run pop up events throughout the week so keep your eye out for those!

We’ve got a lot of staff updates this week! Congratulations to our fresh new faces! We’ve got GothixWolf, dieforestfic, Latu10, MajorCheffy, and FBG_Vashta joining our team as Trial Moderators! Telibboy and AnAlphaLonzy have finally finished their trial and are officially Mods! Good work, guys! Our darling Snoozn_ has finally been promoted to Admin! We know that he’s going to be amazing. And lastly, we’ve bid farewell to two of our lovely Mods, ItsSneakMoo and TheTruePingu, but if you see them around, be sure to say hello!

We started Saturday Games Night with everyone’s favourite: Bingo! Our luckiest players this week were Latu10, dieforestfic, KaleWesker, IWin, spewy087, Snoozn_, FBG_Vashta, BrapBrap, vMitchh, and PotatoJacket! Congratulations, guys! It’s great to see some new faces in there!

Next up, Thor got a bit trigger happy with the lightning! Our Thunderdome winners this week were ByZack and iiiNeptune! Great work!

And lastly, a quick round of Magical Chairs! Our best dancer this week was FBG_Vashta! Way to go!

Prison

Tuesday night we started with a very experimental and first time holding of Prison Drift! Even with the few hickups that happened, we still have some amazing drifters in Prison! These Drift kings are Renaeissance, Jungleknowsbest, Opalz and Tunrida!

Next up after Prison Drift came the very original and adrenaline pumping Spleef! Smacking, killing and dodging left and right! The amazing spleef winners are Spleggeti, Raphy, Netzaltali, SkellyBG, ExpressoYourself and Opalz! Amazing performance all around!

Obstacle course was the first event to start off Thursday night! The very agile winners are as follows! ExpressoYourself, Netzaltali, SynlessPC, Supermate_ and Xesber!

And following right after we had a few rounds of King of the Hill with of course fishing rods! Our fishing rod KOTH winners are Netzaltali and SynlessPC!

Build Competition

During the most recent competition we received a lot of feedback about how to make the build comp more accessible to everyone, so this months theme is broad…. But also very specific. This month we want you to build us something that shows us your FAVOURITE VIDEO GAME (a shoutout to Dusked_ for this epic theme suggestion)!!! As per usual there are some rules you need to follow, so be sure to read them before you begin!!

Competition Rules

• The build must be a Maximum of a 70 (length) x 70 (width) x 120 (height) blocks. To stay within this boundary, we suggest creating a border to work within.
• The build must contain something to do with a videogame OTHER than Minecraft!
• Build must be completed by August 30th 8pm AEDST.
• You must work alone, if you do not you will be disqualified.
• All entries must be built on the creative server.
• As cool as pixel art is, this isn’t the place for it, we understand that some builds may involve some pixel art parts, but we do not want a build of JUST pixel art.
• Don’t copy another person’s work, whether it be from in or outside of the server. BE ORIGINAL!
• We need at LEAST 5 people to participate to hand out prizes, so spread the word!
• This build needs to have been started and completed within the month of August.
