3…2…1… HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 

It’s the very last monthly post recapping December 2024, and like the fireworks - it’s a blast! We have had lots going on around the FruitBowl this past year, and it’s all thanks to you! 

Thank you for spending 2024 with us, here’s to 2025! 

The end of 2024 was a massive month on Fruit and the team put in a ton of effort to finish off the year with a bang. 2025 will bring a lot of changes and new surprises to the Fruitverse and we can't wait to share them with everyone.

Visually, the new graphics for the weekly posts by Melocraft tie in perfectly with the new design for the server store (which I hope you have noticed)! There will be more changes coming to the website over the coming months so keep your eyes peeled!

The introduction of the new Fruitverse hub last month, built by RebornIV also marks the start of a new chapter on Fruit this year. Finally, over the past few months of 2024 we rolled out a pretty significant change to one of the key custom plugins that runs Fruit. You might not have noticed it but our custom FruitEssentials plugin which handles chat, ranks and more has been re-coded from the ground up for a more streamlined and efficient system.

Lastly, all of these fantastic features and work are only possible with the support of those who buy things from the store. This really does make a difference and keeps Fruit running!

Prison has been rather quiet recently, but just because it’s quiet, doesn’t mean there’s nothing going on behind the scenes! We’re currently cooking up a storm with brand new features in regards to the Mines, Planets, Parkour and Event Hub. A lot of Prisons features has been the same for the past few seasons and it’s about time we get a bit of a refreshment. So keep an eye out at the end of January for some big content coming out!

Well well well, another year on survival, Its been a rather busy month with fruitmas and Harry Potter week over and done with! Brek hosted his spleef duels tournament, which you seemed to love flying around in, much to our despair..Token tools will be receiving a little buff to each tool in the next set, making them unbreakable, Yay to no more risk of spending tokens to then break them. As per usual, the token team is always on the hunt for suggestions - themes or limited tools! Which you will get a special mention on said tool!

For the last few months I’ve been hinting at a special event related to cards happening soon and I’m happy to announce that it’s finally here!! To prepare for the event cards will be going down after skyblock events on 04/01/2025 and will open on 06/01/2025. The event is Cards Clearance Sale™ and it means every single card, all 81 of them will be able to be handed in for the week with altered card limits. 

All Common, Uncommon and Rare card limits will be increased whilst all very rare are lowered to 1 and you can pick from any 5 legendaries to hand in, could be 5 of the same or 5 different ones. You will need to reach out to me in game via /mail for all legendary card hand ins for the week. Rewards will be left at your first home.

I cannot stress this enough please make sure you have room in your inventory for rewards or they will be dropped on the ground and may be stolen by a grinch still lurking around.

Well what an amazing year with Skyblock and how about we end the year out with a relaxing fishing quest! 

I’ve seen many Skyblockers out on the fishing island, fishing and interacting with your fellow Fishers. So get those smelly fishing rods out again and head to /warp fish or wherever you go for your fishing needs and fish up some Salmon! 

You will have until Saturday to fish up as many Salmon as you can to claim that first place for some awesome rewards! Thanks for a great year friends and see ya in the new year! 

Ps I hear there's a mob fishing boost happening for the next 4 days?! Better get on that!

Sugoi has been an amazing addition to the Prison team. From them building Parkour, to helping the other staff with their tasks as well as just genuinely being a great help to the players that are online. Sugoi has been amazing this month, so this is a reward to you for your hard work, congrats Sugoi!

Brekky poo has been a unit behind the scenes for quite a while now, from working as a dev-admin, fixing those nasty bugs and his newfound baby, duels. Without brek, we wouldn't have half of the things we have on fruit. Not to mention going to skyblock, helping there with work also! Brek has certainly earned his stripes this month. Congrats brekfst!

There is a lot to love about FreyCake, and if I were to list them all we would be here all year (haha, get it?). Frey has unwavering dedication, willingness to give everything a try - even hosting events with 10 minutes notice! The mastermind behind Community Quests, we would be lost without him! Happy Birthday, Frey! Wink! 

Blackflame36 has quickly established himself as a valuable member of the staff team, stepping into his role as a full-fledged moderator with dedication and resolve. His steadfast approach to handling his duties has not gone unnoticed, and his contributions to Fruitmas have been nothing short of exceptional. He’s been instrumental in contributing to the event's success. Well done and congratulations, Blackflame36!

Eldorkable has been an active Prisoner the past month. Whilst they have spent time on Prison they have contributed to events, planet questing as well as help out players who have questions when staff aren’t around! We appreciate having Eldorkable around the server and look forward to their future contributions to Prison!

AwesomeKatelyn has been a wonderful face to be around on the server! A general all rounder, chatting away, helpful to whomever needs and happy to chat to anyone! Thankyou for making fruit fruit! Congrats AwesomeKatelyn!

From the second they joined the server, DaddyMacc has been kind and fair to every player around them. Always happy to answer questions, help newer players find their steps. You are an asset to our community! Congratulations, Macc! 

This month, Ms_CocoaBeanz has truly shined on Pixelmon. Once a quieter presence, Cocoa has stepped out of her shell, becoming a friendly and engaging voice in chat. Her consistent activity since the start of the map and her efforts to connect with both new players and staff have not gone unnoticed. Always eager to help and make others feel welcome, Cocoa embodies the spirit of what makes this server special.Thank you, Cocoa, for your positivity and dedication - you’ve earned this recognition!
